Well I've had the car pretty tore apart at times. I've seen what I stated.

It's the first time you've heard anything about it because I'm the only forum member who bought any of them at the February 2014 meet. Everyone else who bought them isn't a member here. All of the information I've heard about the HS rocker wear issue is secondhand (or thirdhand) and I only discovered well after they were installed on my car.

I wasn't going to say anything unless I saw the wear issue myself... but after hearing other members voice concerns about cars or parts I felt it was necessary to get some sort of assurance that there would be no issues now or in the foreseeable future.

If you can verify that they are indeed the revised ones (without wear issues - it seems some of them had wear problems regardless of being revised or no) then we have no issue here, and I'll retract my earlier statement.

Let me provide a little back up here.

Anyone want to take a guess how much business I have done with greg? I'll give you a hint its north of 5 figures worth to the amount of 2 grand prixs and a mountain of parts.......

I went to go get the bronzemist S1X cam e85 car from him in Columbus Ohio while i was out in DC on active duty.

    1. Purchased 1 way ticket greg picked me up from the airport and let me spend the night at his place.

    2. Drove car back to Wash DC and drove the sh1t out of it while having fun destroying a E92 M3 and a SRT8 Charger just to name a few lol......

    3. Pay close attention here. I beat the crap out of that car and drive it hard no lies. replaced a chain when i throught that was what was making noise. Turns out a new flex plate and a new tq convertor from TEP solved the issue.

    4. Got car home to North Dakota not with out any drama however. My own stupid mistake cost me a lost wheel and a trip to the body shop in Madison WI. apparently from myself fvcking up a brake job when I put new pads and rotors on all 4 corners.

    5. Got car home switched to e85 went out interstate brawling with a pontiac G8. As$ploded 2nd flex plate..... had that G8 smoked until about 112-115mph when my foot was to the floor and the speedo was slowing down........

    6. Replaced flex plate again. Got what i assume was a sh1t winter blend tank of e85 and plug #5 ate the spark plug tip on a 130 mph interstate run. limped the car home now its sitting under a cover in my garage.

    7. Trip to get black caged roller back in Feb. 2015. I loaded up my 2 little boys hooked up a 20' trailer behind my navigator and headed to Columbus OH for the 2nd trip to gregs. Gregs dad helped me load up the caged car as thats where it was stored and I loaded up my Navigator to the headliner with parts to include the front seat which had the fuel cell for the trip back to North Dakota. Only free space was the middle row of seats in the Navigator where my 2 little boys sat in their car seats.

    8. Obviously I too have had issues with the car Ive bought from greg however, let me be 100% CRYSTAL clear. It was all my own doing while out driving the car hard and having fun. admittedly driving like a retard at times but hey its all in fun and I refuse to pus$y foot my cars. If I wreck it oh well. YOU MUST BE WILLING to have things break and realize that your going to need to fix it. After all were talking about MODDED cars here not you momma's honda that has a warranty lol!!

    9. I have never pointed the blame about sh1t breaking after purchase. Neither should you. Got a problem with a purchase take it to the person via PM email or whatever not spew the crap all over about some seller out in the open like this. Quite frankly its poor for the community and also looks bad on yourself also. maybe your having issues because current owner doesnt know what they are doing? Who am I to speculate my point is take care of sh1t like this privately because Ill stand by my previous experiences thousands of dollars and multiple business transactions with greg and say he's been nothing but great to deal with.

Oh and lets not all forget modded vehicle rule #1

THY SHALL FIX OWN SH1T! (that means no crying when it breaks too)

    Wreck Rebuild Repeat Forever!!!

    Sincerely Vet!

I bought a 300m input shaft and a 7/8's chain from greg about a year ago and had them installed on a transmission site unseen. when the transmission arrived, the input shaft was installed just like it should have been, and haven't had any issues with the chain where a stock chain would have failed prior to this point.

I have also given Greg enough money to feed a small army. TWO 1in GMR chains, a GMR Gear set, Input Shaft and a turbo a long time ago. Nothing was bad or wasn't as described. Vet is right.

All of the HS Rocker sets that I sold came with the black pedestals that had a small dot punched into them to indicate they are the revised pedestal. You can pull a valve cover and verify this. When other members were voicing their concerns anyone that has a general knowledge of HS rockers would have been able to tell you how to verify that they were revised or not. I'm sure Billboost has a pic all lined up to show you what it looks like.

It's that's the case then I retract my earlier concern, and please excuse any confusion that my original post may have caused. There shouldn't be any issue here.

Maybe a bit late to the party, but I have personally bought 1.9 Ratio Harland Sharp Rockers from Greg. Actually, we traded. My 1.84 Yella Terras, for his 1.9 Harland Sharp.

The trade was made, and our components were in one another's hand within a week. No issues.
'97 GTP - Stage 2 Heads, 90# Springs, 1.9 Harland Sharp Rockers, Gen V, 3.0, Intake, N* TB, LQ4, FSIC, 10.5mm Wires, Poly Mounts, SLP Headers, Borla Exaust, Built Trans - SOLD*

    '08 G8 GT - 6.7L 408CI Stroker, 239/254 Cam, Fast Intake, 102mm TB, CAI, Full Exhaust.

Detailed my car today. Clay bar and buffed. It was in need of good detail. Also ordered a plog and bov today. Now all I'll need is injectors and wastegate plus other little things.
