i have to get the hub bore on them machined to fit correctly on the car so i thought of getting them powdercoated a nice color, but that's just extra money. i can just spray where they got machined with rattle can so they don't corrode and move on with my life.

i know the guy with that car. we've talking via FB a few times about his wheel setup. cool guy.

i've also been informed that the V2 rotors will be usable on the rear for my 5 lug swap. that means that i don't have to redrill any rotors. total items for swap:

    - C5/XLR hubs (all four corners)
    - gen5 camaro front rotors (hub bore opened up to 70.3mm)
    - V2 rear rotors (hub bore opened up to 70.3mm, parking brake dust shield trimmed)
    - new 5x120 wheels

    niiiiiice.

I have seen a few V's like your rocking the Camaro wheels here at car shows and it looks really good in person. I think its the way to go for you.

well, camaro wheels are gonna be something like $600. for another couple hundred i can get something more aggressive that won't require any machining so i'm not entirely sold on the idea yet.

Get em on before everyone and the mother wants tires installed because all of the sudden this thing called winter is here.

This recent snow storm made me want to punch a baby panda while at work becaus we were so damn busy.

Intresting prop for you. I have 1 c5 2 pice rotor in my garage brand new. If you're looking at that route. There stop tech. You'd need to buy the hats and the right rotor but at least you'd save a little for a functional brake setup.

Pay shipping it's yours. Cause I'd never be able to sell one rotor by itself.

And tires are scheduled for next weekend. So long as it's not snowing while I'm driving around it's not a big deal.
