Yanked the blower back off today and resealed everything. Still making that weird ass whistling noise.. all the holes for the pcv are there, the spacer has every hole the lim does except the coolant passages.. I'm stumped.

I tried taking a video earlier, you can't hear it over my obnoxious exhaust lol. It's only while in gear under load too. I can't get it to do it in park.
What are your IAT temps with that spacer? I have a 1/2" spacer I just need to finish up the rough edges. But I need injector spacers which I didn't even think about when I was making it. Anyways my IAT got to 185° tonight. ECT was 208°. And it was about 90° ambient and humid. Would like to see some numbers to see if its worth all the trouble.
Also, I just realized you were not happy with boost numbers around 7-8lbs. Most I've seen is 8lbs on my 3.4. I've also got ported heads and blower. What are you expecting?
I haven't had a chance to take a good look at the temps yet, I can touch the blower after driving around for a bit though so I'm impressed. And it's not that I'm not happy with the boost numbers, it's just that I've seen 9# before so I know it's capable of that but with the belt slip it won't stay consistantly high. I just have the ported blower and the S1x. A buddy of mine was seeing 9# with the same exact setup I'm on so I know I should be seeing about that.
What were the air temps when you seen 9lbs? Its possible that warmer ambients are netting you less boost, plus the belt slip and easily you lose a lb or two. I know the whistling is haunting you, but maybe its just something to do with the spacer and the way it lines up with your blower? Look at it like this, you get the sc whine AND whistle. Bonus!
I would see 9# until I swapped blowers and installed the spacer, so the temps were the same. And the whistle is only around 3-4k and around 3.5#. It's just weird..

If the blower is ported then you WANT to see less boost. I bet if you pulled the spacer and lined up the bolt holes with the blower and lim you would see something shifted. One of the holes is acting like a reed on a whistle making the noise. Like I said, not many can say they have whine AND whistle. Relish it you lucky bastard :)
I just find it hard to believe that a ported blower and a 1/4" spacer is going to kill 1# of boost, but oh well, I'll rock it for now lol. If it wasn't for the whistle and my fuel trims being bat **** crazy I wouldn't be concerned.
The whistle and fuel trims are telling you there's an issue. Fix it or kaboom is your most likely outcome.
Spacer isn't doing you enough good to bother having it in there. Remove and resell
