Nice car and nice work so far

some updates
I got some smoked led tails off ebay to replace my old cracked ones
I ended up pouring about half a gallon of water out of one of my stockers, wish I had got a video of it
I replaced all my struts with kyb gr2s as well as my lcas and I got GMPP front and rear sway bars with moog poly bushings and endlinks. When putting all of this on I discovered my front sway bar had been broken the entire time I've owned the car. I almost didn't order the front sway bar because people had said it doesn't make as big of a difference. I'm definitely glad I did because I probably wouldn't have noticed mine was broken otherwise, considering it broke inside the bushing on the drivers side and it took my taking the bushing off to find out. NEEDLESS TO SAY my car handles quite a bit better now lol.
Here's some bonus pictures
my friend's mom's GTP
my friend's old GT which was taken off the road because rockers were rusted out. Still runs though (we were driving it through a field after some deer lmao), and sounds pretty sick because its missing the exhaust from the downpipe back
I was trying to persuade him to pick up another GP for his sister who needs a car, to add to the collection
edit:Forgot to mention I replaced the CVs and put in a TransGo shift kit as well while doing the rest of the stuff

now for something exciting
picked up this hood for 250 bucks off craigslist. also picked up an sd air dam for 50 bucks as well. I haven't put it on yet because I want to paint the fascia part first.
Anyone know the color code for the silver accent color that comes on the cars from the factory? also if I paint it should I bother sanding down that area (its already painted black) and prime etc or just paint over it?
ps. how do you edit thread titles..?
Sand it down with some 600 or 800 grit sand paper then paint right over the old paint. Primer is for painting bare metal.
I think roof rails and an SE spoiler and it would look tits and some wheels, something to make the back stand out. Looks really good

I'm planning on an SLP gen 2 spoiler in the future because I don't think (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) I need to fill holes/get a new decklid like I would with an SE/Daytona spoiler. I have pregens I'm putting on in the next couple of weeks. It probably won't look great without low but I don't think it will look worse, and I like the design of the pregens better. Theres also a set of 03/04 cobra rims (17x9 ones) that I kind of have on reserve for CHEAP that I'm going to buy (100 bucks for 4 in good shape..). Haven't decided if I'm going to use them or not though. I love the rim but 9" wide 24mm offset...they gonna poke a lot and they're really heavy
SLP gen 2 is nice, thats what I want. Bolts into stock holes but you may need to widen them some depending on who you buy it from. Yeah SE/40th you gotta either fill and repaint the decklid or find an SE dicklid and have it repainted. I would buy them and test fit, if they are a stupid amount heavier in wouldn't use them. But thats me wanting to put less strain on the trans

they're the same as THESE only chrome. I don't think that guys car is lowered either so it would look pretty similar as far as how they sit in the fender. I saw them on the guys car that they're coming from, and also in pics around here, and I don't really hate how they stick out though I know some of you guys around here do lol. the guy I'm buying them from also raved about how the car handled with them on
that being said I think they're like 34lbs a rim....torque stars are less than 20 (or so I read somewhere)
Paint the tabs on the grills black so it blends in and can't be scene as much
the tabs are part of the grille, would take a lot of effort to paint them separately
