97 and 98 shared the same sensors. thats not a 97 blower for sure. 98 or newer.

not sure, but you'll know once you have a l67 map in hand, if the plug fits or not.

You don't need the boost solenoid if you don't want to. It can run off vacuum only and be fine.

or does anyone know where i can get the idler that goes here from and i can run it like ive seen in the past.

whats the big pulley for on the lower right? the a/c compressor should be over there a bit lower. zzp sells a a/c delete pulley to take its place.

your missing a idler for the super charger, its located by the right side of the crank. (#9)

the area on the left side where you want a pulley should have been the power steering. have not heard of a delete for that one yet.

    a/c delete zzp pulley

The pulley on the right is the powet steering... thought it was were the rwd l36 had it. I have the other idler that goes there. Obviously the datsun never had power steering so the pump in in a loop was hoping there was a delet to put there.

so your not using the p/s pump?

delete the a/c with the zzp pulley. if theres no a/c

with your fab skills you should be able to relocat the alt or make a delete pulley for the p/s pump.

so this is what i came up with for the belts, i used a bigger pulley on the drive tensioner and a smaller belt, its tight and the water pump seems to engage fine with no slipping, at least when turned by hand and trying to make it slip. the supercharger is just the stock way with a new tensioner pulley, but it looks funny to me like maybe i put it on wrong? besides that just need the oil pan finished up and i can put this beast in.

also, with the belt like that it looks like the pump will spin backwards? if you look at the routing on the stock pic i posted. maybe im nuts. anyone else see that?

It's still right, the belt must be on the front half of the water pump pulley.

Only problem I kinda see here and this is a maybe, is that the only 2 pulleys keeping that belt in line are the crank and alternator. The groves in the belt might walk all over the place on the water pump pulley, the stock setup has the smooth back on the belt riding the pulley.

But with strong tension and small belt, it may not even matter.

i think if you used the a/c delete pulley, a longer belt, wrapped the water pump like stock and ran it around the alt and tensioner like you have it now, would maybe be the best bet.
