Yep. But dont be saying its fast until its fast. I don't go around calling mine fast when I know its not. A GTR is fast, your GP is not.

EDIT: Everyone hates my stripes but I love them! And I couldnt agree more from that quote from mighty car mods. It's your car, love it but I don't have to, and you dont have to like mine. But Hey, Im up for a friendly race any day! :P]

Edit2: Hollin. I love you. Nuff said.

Liking your car is all that really matters.

Look at me, I'm a 97-08 GP hater.. I do like the 96 body style better, it had styling. Then hop inside and the steering wheel controls that were the same in the earlier version of that body with everything including HVAC control... the comfortable and cool looking seats. A real driver info center vs what the 97--03's got.. if a 92-96 body had heated seats...it would have been plural!

Holli.. don't take any crap from RoseyPalm, Skidmark or anyone else. .......says the Regal guy
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

It's everyone else talking about its speed. Not me. Like I said, I know how fast it is, no one else on here has ever driven it. I don't need to gloat or spew monkeys out of my butt. My camaro was much faster on the run than the GTP.

Edit: As soon as I get the control arm, new panel, and paint, I am looking into more performance mods.

Hey if you know it's fast that's all that matters, it's about your perspective no one else's . Looking forward to see how the car comes along.

Thanks. Then of course I took my pitty to the park and he got all excited and ripped about two inches of leather on the passenger seat. Now I am going to have to replace both seats somehow cause I doubt I will find a good pair at the yard.

The repairs and upcoming mods? I have a few pics of the repair work from the tie rod break then crash from the other day. It sucked balls in 0 degree weather having to change the inner, outer, brake line, and CV. The had to saw off part of the quarter panel that was pushed against the tire. Had chunks of metal in the belt pulley. It would have taken like two hours in decent weather. Took seven to swap shiz out instead. The CV was the worst. It was full of brand new grease from just getting the new tranny.

And just look at the first photo in the thread and see how pretty it was It's gonna be even better though. Give me three months. Won't be a nicer Gen5 in Indy.

The lca is bent. That's why I am not driving it right now. Wheel turned 45 degrees. I have to take the effin V8 all the way to work. What brand do you have? How much? I am set to replace it this weekend or next depending on work.

Dorman brand. I'd take $60 shipped for both or if you just want one I'll do $30. I can ship out tomorrow and you should have them by friday then.

Let me talk to my brother. He is taking it to his shop to get it out of the elements. That sounds like a damn good deal to me. No yards in Indy even have any Gen5's for me to salvage and Autozone is ridiculous on the price. I was just going to have to hit up RockAuto like Snowflake said.

I did work on a kids cutlass a while back and he ended up not needing them and then rolled it about 3 weeks later and told me to keep them and get whatever i could out of them since it was to long from when i ordered them to when i did the work on his car.

I will probably just end up taking both. I am going to replace the driver side rods too. So might as well do the lca on the side too. That shiz was scary! My luck it will happen again, so might as well be proactive.
