Just a pic of my newly painted stock exhaust tips. What do you think?
    I used red caliper paint

IMO, those tips are ugly to begin with. All you've done is draw attention to the ugliness.

Painting the tips reminded me of a blacked out G8 I saw with some nice dual tips and it had red rings around the inside lip of each tip.

I crappily photochopped the drivers side on a similar looking GP below. It was a nice touch, I thought. It added a bit of color to an otherwise bland (IMO) rear end.

Big no on that. Should have went with black to try and hide those ugly pig snouts.

Must be a California thing then because besides you ppl I haven't any complaints.
I didn't like the stock exhaust either but I can't afford anything better at the moment.
I've only had this car for 3 months and had to do a tuneup first which wasn't too cheap.
I painted the tips basically to see what I and other ppl think. Eventually I'll put some chrome ones on but that's a ways away.

You were better off leaving them alone. It screams look at my snout tips that I'm trying to make look better. Some things are better left alone until you can afford to out some nicer tips on there.
