    Hello all,

I've been reading these forums for quite a while now and finally signed up. I have owned a 2005 Grand Prix GT for the last 3 years. I decided I wanted a little more pep in my step. To replace it, I recently purchased an 05 GXP. I bought off a lot and it appears that someone threw an intake and exhaust on it. Maybe it may have been previously belonged to a member of this site.

If so, any input or additional background on it would be greatly appreciated.

The new ride. Hopefully picking it up Wednesday. You will have to click the link as the file size slightly exceeds allowable size on this site.

    Thanks

Yeah I'm really liking them too. The dealer did say he has the stock wheels with rubber that will also be included.

Welcome to the madness. GXP owners are popping up here pretty often lately. Add a trans cooler and you should be good to go.

2006 GMC 2500HD - ATS high flow manifolds and uppipes, turbo back exhaust, blocked EGR, Denali headlights, Reflexxion Cown Hood

The trans cooler is one of the first things I'll be going after. I hear the transmission is a weak spot. I've been hunting a GXP down for the last month. The ones available were still steeply priced. One lot I talked to was supposed to do a safety check and let me know what they'd be fixing. Then went and sold it before getting back to me. Another one I could smell coolant after the car warmed up. A couple others sold before I even got to the lot.

But overall I am very happy with the choice I made.
