Draining and adding new fluid is okay. Flushing (with a machine) is not the same thing. My friend had his trans(4t80e) flushed at 68k miles and it developed torque converter problems 2 weeks later...It worked perfect before, he just wanted to maintain it and thought flushing was a good idea. Not worth it, why even take the chances?

Re: 2006 GP GT Supercharged
Well, ive had the car for less then a day and i think i need a new wheel bearing. Service abs light is on but no tcs light so im thinking its just a wheel bearing not 100 percent sure tho
Re: 2006 GP GT Supercharged
Welcome to the Wbody world lol! You'll get use to changing wheel bearings.
Find a shop with a tech 2 scanner and they can scan and usually tell you what the issue is before you go through and start replacing the wheel bearings.

Haha wow, that's funny. Just replace them in pairs and save frustration later. Fronts usually go at around the same time. Timken or Moog.

These are the tires they put on. good year assurance. from recent experiences with these tires they have done pretty well. ive heard mixed reviews but hey these are brand new so im not complaining

Re: 2006 GP GT Supercharged
Directional tires kinda suck, inner edge wear will is common after alot of miles.
Great dry traction, always heard mixed reviews on heavy rain and snow traction.
Re: 2006 GP GT Supercharged
Brothers in boost lol. the one up front is my brothers lightly modded comp ghttp://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...8/CAM00190.jpg
small update. picked up this gauge pod during zzps black friday sale. got it for like 50 percent off. current tracking down gauges for it. other plans this weekend are to stop at lowes and make a homemade intake. do it for the whine!http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...8/CAM00191.jpg
Re: 2006 GP GT Supercharged
good snag on the pod....tell your boost brother to get rid of the pinstripe....looks terrible....
Re: 2006 GP GT Supercharged
i picked up one of the pods too, fits like a glove

I had directionals on the Stealth and had no problems in snow. That was even with 245's on 9" wheels.
