It's twisted down slightly and it drives me nuts lol. It'll do a wheelie if you try hard enough
that's where i like it for my hand...not because it looks good.
got the fork brace and exhaust in, teaser shot.

probably will mock the parts up this weekend. the headers will need to get coated and potentially wrapped. the fork brace i am going to get powdercoated nicely, but i want to put it on because i am thinking i am going to use it to mount my speedo down low so i can keep it off the handlebars.
I may have missed it, but did you get you other **** back from the deadbeat.........
no.
i'd burn his house down
fork brace is on just so i can mock up my speedo mount. once that's all together i'll take it off and send it out for powder coating.
hooked up the speeo cable and speedo real quick, it works. awesome, no extra parts needed there.
attempted installing the exhaust and it looks like i'm going to have to do a little modifying of the pipes and or the frame in order to get it all to seat correctly. right now it's currently too long and runs into the license plate mount so i'll probably have to hack off 6" from the end. that's fine with me, though. i am not a giant fan of the turn outs that are on the exhaust right now and would rather them be straight cut. i'll get them to fit how i want and then i'll send them out to get ceramic coated.
for some reason i am thinking about just cleaning everything up and putting clear over the top of it...
a quick and dirty little sneaky pete of a speedo mount we made last night...

it's going to use one of the lower triple tree bolts to hold it to the forks on the left side of the bike. i want to paint the bracket before i mount everything and i'm going to need to buy a shorter speedo cable in order to make it work nicely.
Looks un-dirty to me.
aluminum tends to look clean after you wire brush it.
Nice progress.
Why no installed pics?
because i needed to get some hardware from work before i put it on.
and i want to paint the bracket before i put it on.
and i am going to need a shorter cable because the one i have is too long.
gosh.
Don't get huffy with me Mr. Gosh!
Its been 3 hours. Get the lead out hehe
i'll probably "mount" it quickly when i get home just to show off how it will look in the end.
just wanted to mount it up to see what it'd look like. i still want to paint the bracket and i need a MUCH shorter cable (-10"). i love the crap out of it, though.

dropping off the speedo moutn and the fork brace to get powdercoated today. just a simple black on those so hide them and match the stuff around them.
this weekend i'll finish test fitting/cutting the exhaust so i can get that sent out for ceramic coating.
Looking good.
nicely powder coated fork brace and speedo mount on. they look badass.
also mocked up the exhaust. love that in comparison to the one that was on it. i debated on straight cutting the exhaust so it didn't have the turn outs and it'd be a little shorter (maybe 6"). the wife says nay and i should leave it as is. i'm still not sold on the turn outs right now. you be the judge.
