i like it better without the decals. i don't care one bit that he ripped them off.

it's his car, not yours. stop clogging up his fun time thread with your negative comments about being butthurt that he took stickers off a car that he owns.

Thread cleaned up. Please keep it clean and constructive. Posts complaining about the decals will get infractions because it causes more work to clean.

    Thanks

    RaceKar FTW!

But I am curious the plan for the car. Keeping as a clean DD or plan for a race/show car?

Not sure where you're from, but might want to look into state ordinances for those track lights too if you plan to keep them. I know you can get away with them as a official pace car, but having removed ALL the decals now you can't say "but officer its a pace car" because he will laugh and think you are lying. Just my thoughts on it, it IS a very clean car, but IMO you should have left the car as a Pace Car and rocked it, but to each his own.

I found my game plan is simple clean fast daily driver.

    The plan of attack

1=get KR to almost zero as I can get. Headers are next already here just need install time.

I am measuring the pulley this weekend and finding out what plugs are in it. May attempt one step colder.
got a new tool gonna test it this weekend,

Going to wrap a few things in alacantra Door handles, shifter knob maybe steering wheel.

Any ideas on a smaller shift knob?

Not very many options for a smaller knob. Most that work properly tend to be about the same size or bigger, and changing knobs would result in either the loss of the Performance Shift Mode button, or relocation at the very least.

There is a mod if you want to give it some thought to make the shifter shaft shorter.

The original link on page 1 is long gone but reading page 2 will give you an idea, if not LMK and I can give a walk through of what to do.

If you haven't found this one give a look over.

Smaller.. like mentioned that might be tough. Bonneville 2000-05 and Grand am had a leather wrapped version that works/feels better.

14k..that thing is practically new. Nice color... now that I'm not distracted.
How long did it take to get all the decals off?

Plans to keep both sets I'd imagine... would look REALLY weird with half set of strobes, but they'll look good smoked. Still would be illegal to run on the street and a loss for show car status as it now looks like any other GTP out on the road, but w/e

Well I'm curious to see how this build progresses. This is the only GP I would trade straight across for my turbo GP.

Changed them out today. F$%& those back plugs and o2 sensor in the way. Only Took a half hour but frustrating and hot. Tried to flip the dog bone mounts but they are old and dry just gonna tear them. looks like a half step colder than stock. I think prior owner got hot and cold plug chart wrong.
kr max at 2 on highway pedal floored thats it. thinking with headers=0

    To do next
    1=install headers
2=solid mounts on the dog bones.
3= pulley down tune plan next step. cam gen 5 swap ect.

Spray the dog bone mounts with lots of WD-40. work it in there. Should be good to flip
