Thread: Slicks 2001 Galaxy Silver GTP Now with corn

Decided to finally make a ride thread.

First day I had it, hood is popped open cuz I was putting my AEM filter and new wires on it.


Then 3 days later this happened.


Was not happy with that, used the warranty that came with the car to get an engine and have it installed. Then 3 weeks later the thing started knocking on my way home from work tried to limp it home and it completely seized. This time I decided to get my own engine and do all the work myself so I knew everything was done right.

When I took out the old engine I found this





New engine getting ready to go in.

Did some repainting of the interior.




Things on to do list. Not really any specific order.

• Shift kit
• Tune
• Tint
• Rims
• SLP Gen 1 Spoiler
• GTX Hood.
• 04+ GP leather
• LED Tails
• Retro fit headlights
• Caspers Fuel Pump Rewire
• Fbody Brakes
• Coil overs
• Fix/replace worn out suspension parts.
• Intercooler
• Install Cam

1/4 mile times?

Took it for a small photoshoot.

Not gonna dyno it yet, gonna install a cam and get a tune first.

I found the perfect spot for photos but every time I go there there are 4-5 cars in the way.

The angle of the last pic is perfect to show the aggressive look, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Got a few goodies in the mail today. I'll post up some pics of the old ones tomorrow.

Let's go, my wife will DD, she's been asking me when we are going to the strip club again. Maybe do a proper photo shoot before hand?

The UPS guy dropped me off a nice package this afternoon. Its a lot smaller than I was expecting it to be.

I came into this thread expecting a silver GTP with slicks. I am disappoint.

Other plans got in the way and I have not had a chance to get valve springs retainers and a cam install kit.

Tis a sad day in GTP land

I see no sadness......a little JB stick weld and all is good.






























Seriously though........is it just the bumper that is screwed up?
