It has been a very interesting week at my shop. We finished up work on a 2013 Camaro RS, and a 2011 Ford Raptor. No big deal, right? Well, it wasn't a normal week. It's hard to see on the Raptor but we did a tire and wheel package and lowered the truck 2 inches so it would fit in the customers garage. The 2013 Camaro RS was lifted and trimmed to fit 255/30R30's. The 2012 BMW and 2006 Vette got new tires and wheels too but no modifications.

The Raptor on its new tires and wheels

The Camaro before tires and trimming, lift installed.

It pained me slightly to cut up a brand new Camaro and lower a Raptor but the money was excellent!

They don't make a lowering kit for the Raptor(for obvious reasons) so we had to cut sections out of the front coils until we matched the rear ride height. It was time consuming but not too difficult. Rear drop was accomplished using a shorter spring block.

I have a customer on the same tire on her Jeep. She loves em. We rotate them at every oil change(5k miles) to keep them from cupping.
