Thought I'd toss some pics up of the recently acquired Anny GTP. This is Prix number 4 and the first coupe! I've had a silver and a grey mist GT, White GTP and now this girl.

Anyways picked it up for 4k. Everything down to the floor mats came with her. Pretty well rust free which is surprising being in alberta. 177k on it. I've done the LIM replacement, injector o-rings, thermostat, ngk plugs, valve cover gaskets, charger gasket and oil, coolant elbows etc. You know the essentials when you pick one up.

    Couple other mods she has:
2 10" subs, pioneer headunit, with the factory Bose system.
5% tint on all 5 windows
    front and rear inlays.
    K&N CAI
Powder coated "anthracite grey" torque stars

Have TOG headers, ZZP downpipe, custom tune and lower thermostat that I need a weekend to install.....

Not looking for anything crazy as its a DD. I've had my fun with speed in the grand national

Love the grand prix's. Cheap to fix and easy to work on. (yes I need a new fog light)

    Enjoy

NOW WITH NEW Powder coated torque stars

    My 02 Anniversary "purple" GTP
    It's dark cherry metallic, dammit!

BTW, the interior is called ruby red. Don't ask me why the exterior and interior are 2 different shades of dark red/maroon. Clean car, though. Love the 40ths. That color makes them look like a lot more expensive of a car.

Not sure what my next mod is going to be. Retrofits seem like a total PITA to do properly... Halo's are too rice

Might just order some SD headers and be done for a while

Been a long time since I've updated. Not much is new. Finally sold the Black 17" rims pictured here. I told myself I wouldnt buy torque stars until those sold.

Sold the blacks, picked up some torques, and sent em in to get powdercoated. Will post pics as soon as they are back!

Went with anthracite metallic. should look really good

I'm digging the color it's just the size of the tires that throws me off.

Stock setup. Not planning any suspension mods. I personally like the look and dont understand the whole "slammed" or even lowered scene but thats just me.

People will lose it over $650 for powder coating a stock set of GP wheels. I love the Enkei torque stars and the color goes well with the "PURPLE of the anniversary. To each their own

Nothing wrong with powdercoating. Hell that's the route I would take over paint especially for winter use. $650??? is that including the rim purchase? A little drop would look good but I understand not lowering it.

Nope rims I picked up for 250.00

The price included a cleaning prior to sandblasting , complete sandblast, then the coating process. There is a Ton of prep work required prior to coating

I wont use these in the winter. Our winters are TERRIBLE up here. Im using the stock anniversary rims with blizzak tires.
