Well it worked when I bought it, but one ballast died, they sent another. Then the halos started dying, they sent a new set that was missing 1 halo, but have everything else. Then they sent me another single halo, that was damaged. Then they finally sent an entire new set, that is complete. Then one headlight wouldn't turn off and i had to pull the fuse to get it to turn off. Only happened once so I chalked it up to a random occurrence. Then the lights just quit working, the next day I started troubleshooting and I was able to determine it was the relay box. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and one light started working fine, the other faded in, faded out, flickered, then shut off. I called them and they swore it was the ballast, and that it would cause that behavior (which makes no sense to me, but okay). I tested it (only one light) about 10 times, so I figured they had some stupid overly complicated circuit set up and they were right. Nope. That night my wife had to pull the fuse because it wouldn't shut off. Called TRS again, said I had a bad relay box and they were wrong the day before. They said "Sorry" and sent another relay box. I received that and the replacement ballast on Monday, but they sent the wrong relay box. I called in again and the guy had no idea how the wrong box was even sent to me since they linked it my order. Then he puts me on hold and blames it on me because I said "Relay Box" and my Motocontrol relay "module" isn't shaped like a box...no I'm not kidding.

That's basically the gist of it.

Sounds like the motocontrol caused you a bunch of problems. What about the chipped projector?

Chipped bulb, they say it won't change the output at all, but on that light (ironically) I have a hazy cut off. I have pics but I'll have to show you when I get home, I'm at work right now...unless you wanna dig through my build thread, lol. The bulb hold was also bent when I got it so it wouldn't screw into the projector. I bent the bulb holder back to it's screw in, and they're blaming that for the output, but saying it's my fault.

    Havent updated in a while...

I got a new daily. 2007 Kia Optima.

Finally got around to finishing my retrofit last weekend.

Havent wired up the halos yet though. My high beams are also inverted (the lights on when the low beams are on).

Also I think I fudged up today. My dads friend wanted to go for a ride. I went WOT a few times. I went to go wot once more but it started to misfire really bad. There's weird boost spikes on the gauge when ever it misfires and it sounds like its backfiring into the intake.

Right as I yammed it? And its not like it stopped misfiring all together. Only when I get on it. No CEL flash, no codes. The aeroforce isnt even telling me which cyl is misfiring.

Hopefully this helps on which wires you have to change in the connector. Just test for power and match them up

    Thanks papa Ill try that.

So that whole misfire thing it was doing went away. Maybe some weird electrical problem. I just warmed the car up after work took it for a drive and took a few logs, it ran great.

Was it wet out? What kind of intake do you have?

Oh okay then. When I had an FWI and got on it when it was wet out the MAF would get wet and it'd fall flat on its face. Carry on, lol.

    Haven't posted in a while.

A few weeks ago I thought it was about time to rebuild my bags. I got the fronts done last weekend.

Yeah the upper mounts definitely needed love.

Put a new bag on and modified the upper mounts to accept the new design of the bag and thrust bearings.

I think I definitely got a little lower. Still not quite laying frame but way close enough.

Finally, after lots of work and many months shopping I would like to introduce my new car.
