I'd have me a set of backup headlights (stock junk) around if failures / repairs are such a time issue. I know, but yeah gotta have lights or hoof it sometimes.
Excuse to drive truck more!
True, if I had the truck running, lol.
Aw dammit what'd I miss? Careful my Ford jokes might fall out...
When you said you was goimng to the BBB I thought you meant bikes blues bbq lol, just for a sec.
Nothing Ford related wrong with it, lol. It needs a new valve body, transmission pan, oil pan, and a new battery. Then everything to get it legal since it hasn't been registered since 08\2013 lol. Transgo shift kit f*cked up my valve body, basically.
I see... theres more to that story. You just need GP HLs to work as intended. Sounds like you must have quality in certain components but it isn't offered that way. Surely somebody makes good LEDs, try an American manufacturer if it exists.
Well I converted the 302 to roller with a Mustang HO cam, then advanced the cam 2* to try and bring the powerband down lower for a truck. Then I put GT40P heads on it and converted it to Mass-air. I put the Transgo shift kit in and the AOD went nuts. It hold 1st until at least 20MPH, then if you can get it into OD it'll randomly SLAM into 3rd....HARD. For the pan, I put in a drain bolt and it leaks, so I suppose I could just have that welded so it wouldn't leak.
Been playing this at work for the past few weeks; never gets old....

So TRS is sending me switchbacks as a replacement, and they still won't do anything about the chipped bulb. The are saying that since I had to trim the bulb holder to make it fit the back of the projector my output is messed up, not because of the bulb. I didn't trim anything in that direction, and I'm going to prove it with pictures and swapping parts around to find exactly what is the problem. I have to completely disassemble the headlights to put these halos in, so I have a few choices to make. Should I paint the housings\shrouds? What color? I also need to figure out if I want to connect up the switchback. I never really liked the switchback stuff, but I might like it when I see it in person. I suppose I can always just disconnect it if I don't like it. I thought I was special for getting switchbacks...until Kyle told me that's all they sell now, lol.
I said I think thats all they sell switchbacks and rgbs i tink
I checked, you're right.
Ooooo
Got the package, and they only sent 1 halo...even though they signed off saying there was 2 in there. WTF
Hopefully they match your old one....
Both of my old ones are going bad, so I need both of them lol.
good lord.....this is almost like buying diesel parts but without the stank.
The missing halo is floating over the head of the person you get when you call or email. Like an angel, ha ha.
BTW the play house came out top notch, saw that on the other thread. I bet it was relaxing work compared to this lighting snafu.
Nice to have something simple to work on. I dunno if you saw or not but I did finally add braces to it, and 6 foot long cleat's into the ground...it's definitely not going anywhere, lol. I'm thinking of adding a stereo to it so we can have some tunes while the kids play. As you can see int he pics we have storage units behind our house. The other day some mom was getting stuff out of their unit and her son was throwing a HUGE fit because he couldn't come play on it, lol. He just stood at the back of the chain link fence crying and looking like a lost puppy. We told her that he could come play, but she said they were in a hurry anyways.
