I put about 6 hours in cleaning it up and waxing it. I used this Maguires stuff for black cars that's supposed to be like a clay bar. It worked pretty well. Took out the water spots and brought the black shine back into it. Now all the dings and dents really show up [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

I need struts SOOOO bad. would like to lower the front a bit. probably have to go all the way to next tax return for that. the rims look awful, really. i'm not sure what to use to polish them other than sanding them down and redoing them.

I finally got real time knock retard figured out on torque app along with timing and load. one time had a blip of .2 KR on a shift from 2nd to 3rd. Many punches from stop and from 1st, 2nd and overdrive. 0 knock all the way up to 100% load. Timing at WOT was between 13 and 16 under any WOT circumstance that I remember. All other times timing is 25 to 40 degrees. Went up to 85 in a 65 maybe once. there's not a lot of places to go fast without being stupid close around where I live. car covers ground pretty quick. i'm guessing the timing could be better and that would help some based on what I've read other cars doing. but at least there's not really any danger of engine damage. I haven't noticed anything to indicate retard while driving in the last two months I've had the 3.4 on it and the previous scan I did showed none.

I sold my eagle rims in the pics and got some gxp rims off a Bonneville for a hundred bucks. the guy who bought them off me had to get a ride. so the guy who drove him had a 2009 dodge caliber. he gets out and he's like "that's a nice car." i'm like, thanks. he says, "I'll trade you straight up." I'm thinking that this dude has some screws loose. so I looked at his car. its kinda dirty but not in bad shape. some scratches on the hood. tires maybe 30%. they were originals. showed him mine. he's like "as is. right?" I got his number but I haven't given any thought since. I def wouldn't want that caliber. I would sell it. my car's worth maybe 3 grand with the new tires on it. I forgot to check how many miles on it. I was still kinda thinking about doing it and dumbfounded that he would want to do it in the first place.
