The Tap Shift on these cars absolutely blow.

The PCM will override your decision when to shift, it's pointless.

Tapshift is blah. It's fun for the first few minutes and then you'll never use it again.
Squirrels are my engine. I need a Ford Regal

The paddle shifters are absolutely pointless in an automatic car haha but still fun to use none the less.
and Monkey, you nailed it on the head. this is my commuter car to school and work so i'll be sticking with the cheaper visual mods, for now.

Nice to see a GP risen again. Ouch on the engine. I like the carbon fiber mods, nice work.

Thanks slajoie, trying not to CF the exterior too much to avoid being "that guy" but i might do some more accents on the interior just for ****s and giggles.
Does anyone know any good write ups on how to replace the power steering ppump on the 04+ cars? i can only find the 97-03 write ups on here.
Mine has been whining for a couple months now and is driving me nuts

Mine whined for a while a couple of summers ago so I brought it in to be replaced. The shop checked it out and all they said they had to do was top it up with fluid. the whine was gone. the only thing is to try this, you need a long funnel as the PS fill point is in the back of the engine half way down. Might be worth a try.

switchbacks might not work properly since you have an 04, i know mine don't anyway on my 04 gtp. They only work at night when the headlights are on, other than that they are white as drl but only flash white, they dont switch to amber for turn signal in the day which i think is illegal to have white only turn signal oh well

The shop I went too told me the same thing so I tried it, still whines. Even after the new engine with all new fluids. It must be the pump.

So they only work when youre headlights are on? I thought the whole point of them was to switchback to amber when you signal? That's lame lol

No **** lol why else do you think they were 140$? the kid used a can of black spray paint

2 tires are good, but dont have matching tread.
The 3rd has a hole in it
4th has a nail in it and has very little tread left
Im planning on getting 4 new tires soon. The kid had them listed as 285/40/18 but they were actually 235/40/18. i plan on going with the 45 instead of 40(too much space in wheel well)

Edit: Also i was thinking about getting 4 pontiac symbols on the center caps, anyone know where i can find some?
