    Racekar?

    Seats are in

Lots of space (they fold down more, I just didn't move the seat forward)

Got a couple complaints though. I hooked up all the wiring for the driver's seat, and the heater isn't working. Motor is working fine. Also, the passenger seat sits real high up and from what I can see, it can't be adjusted down for more headroom.

All in all, they look very nice and are very comfy. Car is still on jackstands though so I haven't driven around with them.

These guys just came in today, can't wait to get them on the car. I just need to source some dust boots.

Not as bad as I thought! Just drill 4 self tapping screws in the top, and a little cutting to make the bottom latch sit in place. I used this write up: GTPWORLD.NET • View topic - 05 GXP to 97-03 seat swap! 04+ seat to 97-03 write up.......

Thanks fellas. Chances are, I'll get the ripped part replaced, and in the fall when I find a z06 I want to buy, I'll sell the seats.

Install struts and lowering springs- check. (car is dirty in pictures)

Putting the car down, with the traditional jack, it got stuck on the subframe!

Pulled out the low profile jack (which also caught the bumper on the higher point of it when the car was lowered down all the way)

INITIAL drop pictures (car hasn't moved)

Drove it around the block and it dropped about a half a finger's width. I'll give it a little while and update the pictures. So far, it's got some rake, which isn't bad.

I do the same thing. But I only have 1 junkyard local to me, and they normally don't have anything good.

    Sent you a text.

Driving to and from work today, it settled down some more... It's now at 2 fingers gap in the front and 4 fingers gap in the rear.

I don't mind a little rake, but I'm hoping the rear settles down some more. Maybe I'll put some heavy stuff in the trunk and drive around for a little while like that if it doesn't sit like I want it to.

Now I just found out that my passenger seat's seatbelt won't latch, the latch that's attached to the seat has the button stuck in place. Gotta find a new latch I guess...

Car has dropped quite a bit more... I'm down to barely 2 fingers gap in the front, and barely 4 fingers gap in the rear. Really hoping the rear will sit a little lower. I put 2 5 gallon buckets FULL of golf balls in there, as well as my old struts (I need to take them to the scrapyard anyway). I'll drive around with the weight in the rear for a week or so.

Doing work man! Nice, I have the dna's too n the front dropped a lot n the rear might have raised id say:thumbdown: mine have been on for a couple weeks n prob havent settle more. I do like it down in front tho rather than how ssc's are the opposite n the front is higher than the rear. We need to find a solution to this lol. N im in fraser, just south of clinton township, near warren, roseville, n sterling heights if youre familiar with down here! We should get a photoshoot going this summer haha. Ill have my retros done soon n may need some tips. Keep up the modding!

Not familiar with your area, but I'll be getting down to woodward every friday night in the summer, starting next weekend most likely.

I'd be glad to help with the retrofits.

I'll have the weight in the trunk for a week or 2 and see what happens. I just figured since most of the weight is in the front, that the front settled before the rear. But since your ride height isn't much different, that's not good.

im east of Woodward about 8-10 miles prob off of 13 mile. N I have 2 12" subs with a battery n amp in the trunk n no help. Maybe if ya throw more in it may. I was thinking a couple sand bags haha. But idk I really wanna get ssc's for just the rears or something. I'm looking up other springs. I'm not disappointed with them or anything, for $82 bucks I can't complain. But if I can get something more even figured out I'd like to do it. I love the front height, just gotta deal with the rear. N idk if cutting is a good idea, I've read a lot of people saying not to! Lol
