Finally posting about my car....
I have had several W-body cars of the years. I had just sold my Regal GS and was on the hunt for another car that was in good condition (body wise) that I could fix up and have it as a seasonal car.
I found an add on another Grand Prix site that said that he was selling his Turbo car and it was torn apart and has been sitting for the last 4-5 years i na garage. Most of the parts had less than 1000 miles on them and the car only had 85,000 on it.
Then I found out he was local to me. I called him up and went and looked at the car. It was torn down to the shortblock, he had problems with the car breaking up over 5000 rpm's and thought it was valve springs. He had lost interest and the car has sat since.
The car came with a considerable amount of extra parts, it was super clean, and was not drove in the winter. Right up my alley.
So after some wheelin and dealin I bought the car, towed it home and started to rebuild the car.
