I have been thinking about that...By the time I get done there will be no chrome on it...with the exception of the lettering...It just seems a bit out of place. Thanks tho! I was surprised how easily the VHT laid down for a rattle can... I think thats 3 coats of clear on top of it...I think I am going to wet sand it in the spring and go for another. They arent glossy enough for my liking, but thank you!

I did my '78 Chevy too, check it out.

Thanks, my first truck was a 74 Chevy 2WD. I know how to work on a SBC better than a 3800, but I grew tired of carbed rides. Maybe later when I can, I will buy me a 69 Chevy SWB.

I figured it'd look out of place...I like the way that blends. I contemplated it, believe me!

Thats one of many mods on the list. If you did it, you might know, is there a way to integrate the switch? Im not a huge fan of extraneous switches if they're not necessary.

Getting a switch would have been a pain in the azz to do and expensive too. What we did is get 3000k Hid kit for the fogs, the same part # of fogs on the other GPs with splits, and had the harness spliced into the parking lamps. The fogs then would only turn off and on with the parking lamps, only downside is you can have just the fogs on but you cant have just the headlamps on.

Chit...Maybe adding another switch separate is the way to go...I wanna do some sort of halo/angel eye/gattling combo when I do my retro on the headlights combined with an LED conversion...I want to be able to run them separate.

Gotcha, ya we left em like that but i think i would buy, on the next car, one with fogs on it so i can turn them off. IF anything get the retrofit for the headlights and run 55W HIDS, the 55W is like 35-40% brighter than the 35W and its bright enough to where you cant tell if you got fogs or not. Im pretty sure it will make up for the fogs, and ya do the LEDs too. I had switchbacks which were pretty cool

    That is a nice ride.

I'm looking around for an '82. Maybe someday I'll find one I want.
