When it comes to the PCV I personally thought you couldn't cap the nipple on the Gen V on the back. I've been told you run a vacuum line from the back nipple to the throttle body after the MAF but before the butterfly. You must take in metered air. You need to have a front and rear functional PCV, so if you cap the back nipple, that wouldn't allow the rear PCV to function.
To know for sure if it's your PCV setup that's wrong, you can run a Valve Cover breather and see if that works, if it clears up the milky substance, then you know your PCV setup is wrong. But personally, I wouldn't leave the Valve Cover breather on because that will allow unmetered air into the crankcase and will most likely throw your Fuel Trims off.
Your PCV looks right. You used garlock and copper spray? Copper spray is good for head gaskets not intercooler gaskets. Copper spray doesn't cure like RTV.
I wouldn't know unless I keep taking the sc n core off lol. This all just came about as I was painting it. I still have the Vac leak and used just rtv this time around. Pretty sure it's coming from something else.
Do you know why I'd be getting that milky substance then? N I re did it all today and used strait copper rtv. Started it a couple hours later n still had the 16.4 ltft.
Sseilmnop so you can tap into the lim like that? Interesting didnt know that
Hmm well maybe thats not your problem then... but i did get that creamy goodness before i fixed the pcv setup to the way i have it now
Yeah idk man, that's only 2 days of having it on too n barely any driving lol. If need be ill cap the tap n run it from the oil cap.
The barb fitting on the LIM does exactly the same thing as putting a barb on the front valve cover or oil filler. The passage that the barb goes into on the LIM leads directly down into the front bank under the valve cover. It's just a cleaner way to set it up so you don't have a hose sticking out of your valve cover. Also a catch can on the metered air supply line going to the front PCV isn't going to catch anything other than clean air. The only way to utilize a catch can on a m90 3800 is to block off and tap into the passages built into the supercharger for the rear PCV after the air has made it's way through the engine and accumulated moisture and oil vapor. There is a few people that have done it but it is fairly complex.
That's all just as far as I remember, for all i know I might just be another Internet dumbass. It's been a year since I had mine apart and it burns oil ever since I went IC so if you figure out anything new lmk
Did you drill a hole in the red circle? WBS / ZZP Intercoolers don't line up with hole. This disables the vacuum to the crankcase but prevents a lot of problems for them from customers and the PCV not working correct. This would mean that the crankcase is not being evacuated which could cause moisture to build up and possible milky looking spots.
By the way the hole in the red circle lines up under PCV in supercharger.
It does not line up with the nipple on the back of the gen 5. The nipple in back of gen 5 goes through supercharger to line up with the front hole. That front hole is block by the intercooler.

Yes I did, that's where it was at mostly, and under the sc there.

It might not be lined up properly if you are getting the cream in that location mostly
So not to jinx myself, but the ltft's seem to be corrected. I went up to advanced to buy new vacuum hoses and a box of assorted fittings n when I got there I sat a minute in park before I got out n it was max at 5.x. So I went in n bought the stuff and when I got home it was still around the same. 4.x-5.x max for ltft. Needless to say I'm leaving it all for now unless it was just a freak of nature thing. Eventually I'll replace all the lines since I have em all now. :)
well it will take a while for the ltft's to re-correct themselves so the comp was prob just doing that.
oh ya...hope we have good weather in FL... im gona be down there Sun-Wed.. looks like there will be a couple good days of nice weather.
