maybe I'll pull the switch out and try cleaning it.

maybe I'll pull the switch out and try cleaning it.
Or just drill two small holes in the fascia and zip tie it.
I just want it to remain semi-hidden
Retractable plate ?
no just don't want to drill any holes that are visible
you dont have an aftermarket bumper do you, cuz I think I see the Pontiac faintly on drivers side in this pic. Mine came with the plastic plate holder on the crown. Thats a tuff one, I just deal with mine.... but if I had your choice I'ld probably opt for the one RED said....it is going to add to the under $4000 estimate!!!!
Other then I've already suggested Ifk how else you can do it. Unless gasp don't run a front plate or move somewhere that doesn't require one :)
I used to live in IN and that was great not having to worry about the plate. I could probably get away without one for a while.
bag it.
I'm sure the kids and wife would love that lol
Took a few pics while filling the ps fluid while the kids were sleeping

If I were you, I'd change the oil again over the weekend and inspect it for metal flakes and what not. Call me paranoid, but just to be safe, a couple good changes would help flush out bad stuff.
^ what he said plus maybe it was some gunk stuck in a pushrod to why it was ticking and it finally cleared it out . So the gunk could be at the oil pan now and possibly clog the pick up
I just took it on a drive to the exhaust shop to get the dp fixed it was 10 miles one way and it ran great the tick kinda comes and goes, I might just swap out all the lifters.
Pull the heads. P/P them, rebuild with all new parts, make sure no pistons have chipped, add rockers/springs while its apart. New gaskets, P/P the supercharger since its off on a shelf now, and once back together, you worry no more :D
If I'd do that I might as well pull the motor and put in a known good one I have laying on the garage floor. I'm really wanting to wait a little before I get to carried away maybe in may ish if it's still running good, sooner if it breaks.
Mount the plate on the lower valance...just zip tie it around the fascia.
Done and done.
Bend it back or let it scrape the ground.
Changed the trans fluid and filter and changed the maf, tb, and air filter. The air filter looked original lol. Hopefully today I can wash and clay bar it if my hose thaws out.
You going to keep it now or still thinking of selling it?
