Been here a while, figure its time to make a page on my ride, since i got a crowd of haters finally with my plastidip stunt.

Start with a little history on the cars origins..

I bought it already modded, body looked pretty decent, interior is okay. So i go check it out, first things first i pop the hood, check the fluid, check for leaks. First thing i find is the radiator is empty.

The guy goes to put just water in it. It pours out the side of the radiator, he had put a hole in the core during reinstallation of the engine. Im like hmm, Upon further inspection, i find he bent the power steering pressure line putting the engine back in as well.

I tell the guy, no thanks, and to give me a call if you get this stuff fixed.

I forgot about it, and i get a message saying he swapped in another radiator and replaced the bent pressure line. So i take a look at it, seems legit, so i test drive it, i instantly fall in love with the torque and the rush in the gut when you give it some gas.

he offered it to me for $2100 Had receipts for rebuilt engine:
    -hot tanked block
-new cam and rod and main bearings
    -arp rod studs
    -L32 block
    -L67 heads
    -nic cam
    -hai
    -sd headers
    -tb spacer
    -slp loudmouth
    -no cats
    -zzp canned tune
    -3.5" pulley

so i take it, drive it home.

next day at work(at the time i worked at a engine machine shop) i drained engine coolant, put on a new engine coolant temp sensor(current one was broken) put on a new 180* tstat and tstat housing(old one was cracked) and new upper radiator hose.

while i was parked i noticed a small puddle of oil forming. im like wtf. i drive it to school (UTI in irving, tx) Show it to my friends and stuff.

The following day i get a no start, bc the battery is toast. Pick up a new battery from Napa, Also change the rear valve cover gasket to fix the oil leak.

Go to my car and start to take off and the engine sputters and dies, pop the hood and there is smoke and steam pouring out of the head gasket. from the rear. Get it towed to my house, and tear it down to the block.

Will add as i was tearing things down, all the LIM bolts were loose and so were the supercharger bolts. Head bolts didnt take much tug to get loose either.

Being i work at a machine shop with access to a vat and machines to surface and rebuild my heads. Mind as well right? So i pick up all the gaskets and seals from zzp for the rebuild of the top end of my motor.

milled the heads .005", did a 3 angle valve job, ground out the castings sticking out in the exhaust ports on the heads, and thoroughly cleaned them.

Replaced old gaskets with 4 layer .052" cometic head gaskets and viton valve seals, with comp cams hardened valve keepers, 90# valve springs.

Now onto the supercharger, stuck it on out old milling machine and opened up the outlet.

here are some pics of my port job.

i also opened up the inlet to match the 72mm tb spacer, which is no longer on the car. no pics of the opening, and i smoothed it out nice and shiney.

Finally get the engine back together and it runs like a champ, but still has that pretty heavy oil leak. turns out to be the front main seal, was installed crooked, and the mating surface was all scrapped up. so cleaned that up and installed new seal. no more oil leak.

Time to actually drive the car..

Scanned the car and found my fuel trims maxed out 16.4+

Tracked down a few vac leaks, he had left the vac ball behind the bumper unhooked, evap unhooked, had a code for map signal too low.

he left the map sensor uninstalled. got a new map sensor and hooked up the vac lines.

Also found the egr tube split open. so i deleted the egr and evap both to take those out of the equation.

Got some things fixed, time to test how the engine runs. Couple guys want to run my car, so im like okay i need to test the car out anyway.

Race one is a Honda S2000 with intake header and exhaust. Go from a 55 roll and let off at around 95 with a car lead and walking.

Next race is from a 66 roll against a 6mt infinity g35 with intake and exhaust, walked him let off at about 85 with a 2 car lead.

I still feel like its kind of lagging, not running at its full potential. At this point it has 0* KR so im happy. Slowly working out other kinks to smooth it out and getting it to where i can beat the newer muscle cars with light mods.

Any ways, im sure most of you are caught up the recent plastidip experiments and Fast n Furious vinyls, but here are the pics of how she stands right now.

I will be adding subtle changes, and post them up as i go.

Here is a clip of my exhaust with the NIC cam and SLP Loudmouth exhaust

And a quick goose of the throttle here with some wheel spin, and i need a belt wrap with the 3.25" pulley

Just picked up some 42.5# injectors im gonna install and tune in, then i want to do a fuel pump rewire with 255 fuel pump. either drop pto a 3.0 pulley or swap in a gen v with my 3.25 pulley and call it a day.

After that, going to overhaul the suspension with goodies and replace worn interior parts and mess with color combos, likely beige and black.

    Thats all for now
