Re: Now with even moar engine delete mod!
Was jacking the car up to put it on jackstands to change the oil and one of the wheels on the jack snapped. Jack shot under the car and caught the oil pan. Pushed it up to within about 1inch from the crank. All is fixed now. Yay for hoarding lots of GP parts. Headers are in too.
Re: Now with even moar engine delete mod!
Sucks that happened, but glad you got it fixed.
Re: Now with even moar engine delete mod!

Back in. about 90% done. Got it cranked up and running, but Im open headers atm, need to put the hood on, and button up little stuff.

Mind the missing GPO, the double sided tape was wanting to give up, so I took it out and remounted it after that last pic.
Re: Now with even moar engine delete mod!
why did you have to take the engine out for a dented oil pan or did I miss something?

Because taking it off in the car is a complete pain in the ass. I did it to swap a rod/piston and wished I had just pulled the motor.
Re: Now with even moar engine delete mod!
Cause its easier to pull the motor than it is to try it with it on the car and mess eith the subframe

The C4 is my pops car. It also seconded as a good hood holder.
Caprice is lurking because it wants some love too.
Car is back together and rolling. It was a little upset at first without any O2 sensors hooked up, but once I remembered to plug them in all was happy.
I'll be tossing pictures up once I wash the car (raining today, and class in 1 hour)
Also finished porting the supercharger, and it's all wrinkle black. Looks so damn neat. Gonna put that on, modded rails, and clean up the engine bay a bit next weekend.
Re: Now with moar Bwaahh noises.
I really liked your last engine bay setup...I got faith in ya...do a gold blower to match the wheels.
