Sounds like a simple cheap solution is to use a good paint sealant then just maintain it with a waterless wash etc

Was talking about under the hood.
But, there are plans to get the car's paint redone.
Gunmetal! Or Gold!
Oh gotcha lol. Ignore what I said. Go with purple under the hood or gold.
oh you mean like the supercharger color? and what issues are you having with the engine?
Purple or burnt orange would be gangster
Wanted purple, couldn't find any place in town that sold it.
Thought about copper/bronze, and while it does look tits, I picked up another color. It will piss everyone off.
And TEK, the front breather was already starting to oil up, so upon pulling the VC I discovered the entire VC was covered in milkshake. Oil looked okay though. Pulled the rear VC and was spotless. So im in the process of getting that all taken care of, and tapping the from of the LIM for rear gooder more properer PCV operations 9000.
Also, was nice to take a ride on the 636 today, even if it was only 45.
Oh well, back to work on the car.
Ionno, theres that one white/green 04+. Looks neat, but not my thing.
Color is turning out really nice. Can't wait to see it in the sunlight with some clear.
Hmm got me interested. Lol. Just include what you're doing with the pcv, I'd rather do it once n that's it lol.
Since you have ss braided hoses, you could get these for the ic hoses..
Already doing so to the IC hoses.
I can dig the blue paint, but the tape and whatever the hell that is covering the intake tubing is god awful.
and 06GT, pretty sure you have already done what I've done. Drilled the rear PCV hole and drilled/tapped the front PCV with a barbed fitting to run the front PCV from the TB. Only difference being mine is on an L67 TB.
Yep.
Cap the Gen V PCV nipple.
Drill the rear PCV on the LIM to the proper location for your IC core.
Tap front PCV on the LIM (or the front valve cover) and run a vacuum hose from that to a fitting between the MAF and the TB butterfly.
Haha alright, yup that's all taken care of, just need a cap for the nip
Remember to caress the nipple before you put the clamp..I mean cap on.
It is done!
Took from 4:30pm til 7:30am..that's what.....15hours?
Anywho's The listy thingy of stuff I did.
Obviously tore everything down.
Opened up the rear PCV more. Was apparently just barely reaching the IC PCV hole, cause it was whistling, but no more.
Drilled and quik-steeled (was going to tap, but couldn't find anywhere in town to get NPT taps, so I said **** it) the front LIM PCV and ran that vacuum line to the TB
Opened up the coolant turn-around cap thingy on the driver side of the LIM more.
Got a new relay, turns out my old IC pump relay died at some point in time so yeah, no wonder I was getting 10-11* of KR, now only at 2-2.8*
Sleeved the IC hoses, need to tie them down.
Rerouted a couple more wires. Once I know everything is copacetic I'll delve into the wire tuck more.
Probably forgetting 1/2 the **** I've done, but I'm tired.
Scuffed/cleaned the valve covers, throttle body, and supercharger and painted them......
....what color?
Black. But it's k, cause it's a pearl black with a lot of blue/green metallic glittery **** in it, and looks so damn good. I'l have to get some daylight pictures to see if my camera wont pick up on the color better, cause all the pictures I have don't do it justice.
