Hey so jw I have the 1.9 rockers and 105 spring should I put them in? I got them online used not sure if they are good they look great what should I look for on them for bad
I think there's 10k on them can I get new bolts for it can't find the one its some place
Harland sharps?
I don't know how to tell if they are bad but I know if they don't have the revised pedestals or whatever you shouldn't run them.
I'm not sure what gets revised. Search google for harland sharp rockers and I'm sure you can find some info about it. I can't remember off the top of my head.
Like I have the the bolts and aluminum bar that's holds them and same with the bolt but should I just sell them I would like to cam it
What would you like to know about them?
Harland Sharp
Pedestals aka the piece at the bottom under the rocker should have a dot on it. That's the revised part. The dot faces the valve spring. Those bolts look to require a 1/4" allen to screw them down. If so, they are reusable..no need to replace them.
Now.. look at the rocker, is there an oil hole drilled from about the bolt area toward the tip of the rocker? That's another update they did. As well look at the roller and the area to the right and left of it. You should not see any major wear from the roller on the body of the red part of the rocker.
You could say I know a little about Harlands
Bill to the rescue
Ok going to look at them now but bill on the gaskets where does everything go like the blue parts and little black rings and olso the torque specs I think I f'ed up the torque on the valve cover one bolt broke off in side the head I have extra bolts from the 97 I parted but can I fix it? The rockers I know 2 of them have a little red worn off is that ok and thank for the help everyone
Why didn't you order those from rockauto? Would have been cheaper. I think mine were like $11 shipped.
