Has any of the ls4 guys used will at overkill's ECM/TCM? I'm thinking bout ordering one and then having a guy I know from this site do further tunning on it from there. The one in my car now happens to be the year GM made it not tunable so either way I would have to buy née one to tune car anyways

i now am in the process of ordering an ecm/pcm from an 08 gxp that has already been tuned by overkill to run on 87 ocatane. Will at overkill is only charging me 125 to completely retune it for 91+ octane for my car. This way i can keep my stock ecm/tcm. all i will have to do once they get back from will is a case relearn!!!

so i got the cracked rim fixed. The place i ordered the two new front tires from sent the wrong ones...they sent 18x7 instead of the 18x8 that i had ordered so i told em just to give me a complete refund including shipping since it was their f up. On another note rimguard said for 190 dollars per rim they would get rid of all the old clear coating, repolish the rims, and re clear coat. Im thinking of doing this and just leaving the car on jack stands in the parking lot for 2 weeks while they do it.

For $800 I would just powdercoat them but I guess it depends on if you want to keep them chrome or not the price does seen steep though.

No its not peeling yet. Previous owner didn't take good care of the rims and they've got more than their share of scratches

Quick update. Installed my oil catch can today. Very easy installation and didn't take ling at all. Hardest part was finding where to mount it.

Other sad news my cv half shaft on drivers side is pretty much shot. I've been having a bad wobble and started to investigate things today and easily discovered it being the cv half shaft. Hope I didn't damage anything else driving it like that. So the next few things to be installed are a new cv half shaft, rack and pinion and PS pump. New PS lines to the rack.

So now I got my work cut out for the next few months again

I rack from an autoparts store is way cheaper, no hassle with the stupid shipping it back for a warranty and the core charge.

Buy one local, pay everything upfront, then return the core when you finish to get like half your money back.
