I so badly want that Impala, even if i cant do much mods for it just a Intake, Exhuast, and Tune will do. And then later on doing Turbo, if anyone is able to pull it off. Imagine that a FWD Impala with already 300HP getting T/C, im sure the 6 speed trans can handle the power better than the weak ass one on the older w-bodys. That impala would haul ass.
Yes it would. Even without it would haul ass compared to what I'm used to

Well I took all the audio gear out of the trunk. I'm putting a smaller sub back in eventually just for some low end fill.
I measured fender heights before and after.
    With sound system:
    FR: 27.25"
    FL: 27.5"
    RR: 26"
    RL: 26"

    Without sound system:
    FR: 27.25"
    FL: 27.5"
    RR: 26 5/8"
    RL: 26.75"

It looks better now but I still want the front end an inch lower. Here's a picture now

2002 Impala- SSC, AGX, 18" charger R/t rims w/8mm spacers, Magnaflow cat, U-bend delete, flowmaster 80 series crossflow, z28 tips, HAI, debadged, 35% tint, smoked headlights, full sound system

Well with the aluminum subframe and lighter motor than a 3.8, it probably does set a little higher without the weight. The drivers side it probably higher because the battery is on the passenger side. You know gm

I've been looking at the junkyard for them. Hardly any w-bodies come thru there.

Yeah, I've decided on what theme I want to do. Gonna go for what the slp, IMO, should have been.

I had the SSCs on KYB GR2s. I wonder how much shipping would be, there's always impalas here in junkyards.

Says the guy who didn't have one on his LOL. I'd imagine it would be expensive for that big of a part. Your car seems lower than mine. Although my tires are half an inch shorter than stock

I don't see intrax springs for sale? And wouldn't they kinda ruin my agx's very quickly?
Im curious about other options. Like making plates that bolt onto the lower strut mount and lowering it half an inch or so. Or doing something with the upper strut mount to raise it

I want to do my own version of what I believe the slp edition should have been. Lots of ideas floating around, and until I find some stuff I've been looking for, it will probably be just visual and suspension mods.
What do you guys think? Got ideas of what you think could of/should of been done on an LSX impala?

Should have been T/C and made in RWD.

Never really was much of a fan of these cars, but I do have to admit that yours is definatley a head turner and a very nicely done impala.

Any more ideas? I have a direction for the drivetrain but still searching for it and gonna take awhile to build so I'm just looking to do suspension, exterior, and interior mods at the moment. I have a gmpp rear sway and moog rear sway bar end links on the way. Now I'm looking at front sways. Looks like dorman 33mm is almost the biggest and a good price/deal?
