This thread is about my new car. I am attempting to push the limits of an M90 build. I would like to get as close to an 11 flat as I can with weight reduction & traction.
The engine block is being rebuilt to handle the stress of the build while still allowing daily driving if needed.

    The Block

Drilled oil passages in the lifter valley
    Decked & resurfaced
Stock bore l26 casting with 3k miles
    Clevite main bearings
    Clevite cam bearings
    Balance shaft diconnected
L32 rods & pistons cryo treated
Rods reconditioned and custom fit to ARP rod bolts
    100% balanced rotating assembly
    Micro polished crank
    Hastings piston rings
    IS3 blower cam
Painted with high temp engine enamel
Sfi 8 rib od balancer (future)
    Machined oil punp cover
    Oil pressure kit

    The heads

    130# springs,
    1.7 yt roller rockers
    Intake & exhaust p&p
    Bowls p&p'd
    Short turn radius work
    Back-cut L32 valves
    Cleared for 620 lift
    Modified LS retainers
    New valve seals
    Reconditioned & magnafluxed last year
    Polished combustion chambers
    4&3 angle valve job
    Milled .020
Painted with high temp engine enamel
Roll Master double roller timing chain

    The body

    Zzp stb f/R
    Auminumn subframe
    Cradle spacers
    04+ steering rack
    Custom tie rod setup
    Poly swaybar bushings
    Gmpp rear swaybar
    Fully adjustable trailing arms
Spare tire space removed from trunk
Inner trunk, & door metal removed
    Drilled seat brackets
Drilled rear cradle for weigh (swiss cheesed)
    Evap delete
    Oversized ZZP radiator

TEP Transmission w external trans cooler

    Other mods.

    65lb injectors
    Ported lim
    Gen V
    Ssac headers
    A/c delete
    Egr delete
    LS1 throttle body
    Alternator volt booster
    Race-tronix rewire
    Walbro 255
    3" exhaust cutout
    YT pushrods
    85mm maf sensor
    Custom.3" exhaust

I've been taking pictures of the progress and editing them in Instagram. Some of them look pretty sick, so I Figured I'd share

Thank you. & Yes sir for e85 and I might intercool again if funds allow. I think I should make some good numbers with this combo. The heads should really set it apart.

    Y u no 5 angle?

    Regardless...sounds like fun.

I'd rather do a meatier custom grind though more tailored towards your setup...but IS3 + 1.7's? Gonna be quite the thumper.

So your using L32 pistons and rods? Your planning on doing a low compression setup? Cant wait to see this thing running, Im building an engine myself and plan on using the IS3 blower cam as well.

Question: How much did it cost for you to 100% balance your rotating assembly??

Rotating assembly finally finished. Still waiting for my cam to be finished getting reground. Assembled the bottom nternals today. Torqued verything down and checked the oil clearences. Landed right at 1.9... perfect!
Ran out of red paint, so the heads are gonna have to be Chevrolet Orange. Still gotta clean up some overspray on the no& bolts.
