Hey thanks man. I have been welding since I was 15, and now have 100's of hours of training at it, half the time I am at work I am welding, so that helps lol. Also anybody with enough will power can pull of the swap. It just takes a decent mechanical set up and TONS of time.

Basically everything you need can be rather easily purchased from a Fiero vendor, or made yourself. You will have to splice the harness ( I have no gauges and it is just to the point of running the motor), custom motor mounts, adapt fittings for all your fluids (fuel lines, coolant lines, etc., and the passenger side axle has to custom made, there are tons of good guides for everything that has to be done. It only takes a TON of time and motivation, and a little bit of mechanical experience and tools.

Why, whats wrong with the ZZP shift kit? I hear they are all the same? Except that one comes with springs too or something like that? Not a trans guy.

Tends to be made of cheap quality and the spacers they send in the kit tend to mushroom very easily.

    Exactly what Red said...

    The spacers mushroom...bad..

My buddy did one in his gp....3k later when we had to tear the tranny apart..it wasn't even a shift kit anymore..more like a sh1t kit

Headers! Sorry it took me a while to get back on here. Tons of stuff to do around the house, I dont know how I will ever get this car done!

1 9/16" primary's unlike the described 1.5, and also unlike what everyone on here says 1 3/4...

crossover on the 'inside' part of the slip joints is only 2 1/8"ish

The main collector and downpipe are all just shy of 3", and the flange for connection to your exhaust is only 2.5"

Overall, coming from a welder, I am pretty impressed with the quality. I dont even think I will need to touch up anything (although I havent fully inspected them yet) Definetly a major improvement from stock cast manifolds that measure barely 1"x1.5" ish at the primary's and barely over 1.5" at the necked up part of the crossover.

EDIT: I am wondering how well the headers finish will fair to the heat. I live in Georgia, so road grime/salt etc is not a problem. I original planned on painting them flat black... but wow that mirrored stainless finish sure would compliment my polished aluminum valve covers... Really been contemplating looking into getting my blowers exterior polished, but not sure how much that would cost, and know for a fact I dont want to tackle it myself!

On my previous set never had a issue w/ heat here In Florida. Love the stainless color but of course they'll turn all rainbowish after a few starts up. Quality is good for $200 headers I just picked another set up a few months back still waiting to install. Only issue I'm having is finding a ship to modify the dip area without charging me a butt load of money.
