mine didn't work at all, the harness was dead, and my center section was cracked, got the center and the harness at a part out. all 4 then worked. those damn bulbs are not cheap either, up here they cost me 5 bucks for a pack of 2. i needed 8 all together. same light is under your feet shining down and in the rear view mirror map lights and the front markers in the head lights and the lic plate bulbs.

tint them tails, you'll love it.

thanks for the heads up on that. I already got the VHT paint to do them, just haven't found the time to mess with it yet.

once you got them prepped and taped off, its done, its a waiting game then for them to dry so you can finish them. i had to travel so mine got a 2 days to sits and cure. mine is just 2 light coats, then 5 coats of clear, then wet sanded and buffed with compound. a porter cable buffer does a nice job of removing the sanding marks too.

and i masked out the reverse lights so they worked still, took the tape off when the tint was still wet, then cleared over it all.

this was easy to do, tape over the white lines, then with a sharp razor i trimmed the edges and tucked it in. poked the end when it was wet with a razor and pealed it back.

this is tinted and cleared, not sanded yet, still wet really. look way darker before sanding, i was a bit scared, as i didn't want them blacked out.

I never thought this day would come, but I have lost almost all interest I had in this car. Some changes in my personal life have lead to me not having any time to work on the Fiero. Honestly I can hardly stand to look at it. I am ready to get it out of my shop so we can bring the mustang in that my step dad just purchased. If any one has any serious interest in the car let me know, it needs nothing but some labor to be on the road. Tighten down some bolts, hook up the fuel system, hook up the harness, fill the fluids, and it is ready to be tuned. I have over 7,000 in receipts, and purchased the car from the original owners family (dad owned it, both sons owned it) if there is no interest in the car as a project I will more then likely start parting it out. I have no reason to sell it other than to make room for other things, but who knows, maybe I will have a change of heart!

Sometimes... When chasing a vision, we hit a wall! Something as simple as motivation to complete what we once saw in our mind. We can lose sight, drive or heart. It happens more often than you would think and often the easiest cure is to just take a break for a while without making any rash decisions in the meantime. More often still... Are those who later regret giving up on something that they really wanted to do, but allowed the wall to overwhelm them!

Take some time and relax, walk away from it for a while and then re-examine it and I'm sure you'll be happy you kept it. Especially once the warmer weather hits and you're looking for that one of a kind ride!

Very well put. I think the warm weather getting here is part of the problem. I can go out and ride motorcycle now, where through the winter I would rather be locked in the shop working on my car. I dont need the money so I will not be pushing the sale of anything, but at the same time I would love the space to be opened up down there... so many more ideas to act on lol
