Coming Along real nice.
I will see about his exhaust maybe tomorrow or Monday, before I head back to FT. Polk if you want?
See what I can do.
So... silly me. I dropped my tank today, to install my 255lph fuel pump I had ordered from TREperformance.com, I had ordered a factory fit replacement for the Fiero, which is in tank. Well come today when I dropped the tank I realized that the previous owner had gotten rid of the in tank fuel pump, and hot wired a inline fuel pump "E2000" which is for late 80's ford V8's I guess back when he did the swap it was the common pump of choice, but I know from looking at the specs that this fuel pump will not support my needs, so I just ordered a Walbro 255lph Universal inline pump model GSL392. It should be here Thursday or Friday, so that will slow me down some.. On another note I now have like 8 gallons of old gas to put in my DD, and here is some more pictures from today!
Here is a good view of the exhaust

Glad to get back on and see some great progress on here...I'm hoping next time I have signal it'll be running. You got time though cause were going even further into the desert!!
Sorry, wasn't able to get any vids. Hopefully in mid-march when I have more time.
As my project is nearing completion I have been wondering about getting it tuned, which I know must be done. My question for everyone is what do I need to do to go about this? I know everyone near Atlanta says go to Jeff at engineered performance, he is the go to guy. 2 hours on his dyno, and $500 later and you have a 'perfect' tune. If I was to go this route with things would I still need to get a wideband O2 and a scan gauge etc.? And then there is the option of buying tuning software and doing it myself, which would involve learning how to tune and I have no experience in doing this, although I do consider myself 'capable' of learning. Or I could always send my Ecu out to Ryan at sinister, or somewhere else and get a box tune of some sort. What's my best option? I also am curious as to what size pulley everyone thinks I will be able to get away with? Mods are ported gen III blower, ported TB, CAI, free flowing exhaust, polished heads, 105# comp cams springs, TI retainers, XP cam, #60 injectors, ZZP plug wires, ZZP modded fuel rails, hot wired walbro 255lph, the car has no emissions stuff, and I am sure I am forgetting something's. Also I will be running straight E85. Freshened up low mileage stock trans with Trans-Go shift kit.
to get a good tune you will need the wideband. No way around it as it is a sensor that gives very useful information.
On e 85 you should be able to run a 3.2 or smaller pulley easy.
god. this small a car...polished heads...e 85...nice cam...im thinking youll make some good power on a 2.8/2.9.
i wouldnt try tuning a car with this many mods myself. if you DID want to go that route you could get a box tune from somewhere and you can use it as some sort of base and have a decent starting point.
Sadly I will be taking a break from the Fiero for a while... but it is for a good cause, today I picked up a black 1997 Buick Regal GS, and will be spending my spare funds on getting it set up how I want it for my DD. I am thinking intake, running dual cat-back exhaust, lowering springs, and a window tint job. Then back to the project car!

Put the fiero motor in it
i got one of them, enjoy it. they are as good as a GP if not better. if the seats are in poor shape, look for some 01 and up seats, the back seat has a 60/40 split and fold flat.
and dual cat back wont happen, you would want the same cat back for a GP, and its just got a Y pipe to the mufflers.
and f body brakes make for a nice upgrade when your due for new brakes.
I have F body brakes in a box that came with the car, how hard is it to put them on? The seats are all in great condition besides one small tear on the drivers seat. Honestly I prefer the cloth seats in my Century, much more comfortable! Especially the headrest! If they werent in such bad condition I would put them in the Regal. Why do you say dual catback wont happen? I will probably make my own exhaust for the car. I was thinking replacing the resonator with a long glasspack like 3 feet long, then running it back to an ideal location, then a Y to dual tips. No mufflers. I just want to make some noise, not stupid loud, but obviously not stock. Same idea with a intake, just want to hear the blower more. I will probably pull it off the motor sometime and make a block off plate for it like I did to the one in the Fiero.
if you can change your brakes you can do it. its easy. you look to be able to handle it, its easy compared to building a engine up.
its a tight squeeze to get another pipe to fit down the tunnel. there are pics out there of headers someone fabbed up, true dual exhaust.
and i rode for a day with no muffler and just a res till i picked up the new one, its not like real loud, but it got old real fast. i was done after a day. but then again, im not a kid any more, you may like it. so i wont judge you lol
