its not a hole in the exhaust....
its multiple all over the resonator.

should i get it cut out and straight pipe for a replacement?
or should i just replace it?

no res on these cars gives it a raspy almost ricer tone to it, and the highway drone is terrible. replace the res is my suggestion

Ive heard one without a res. and i thought it sounded awful. Ears were bleeding.

My opinion, get a glasspack. They are cheap... Very cheap.

anybody know of any vids with glasspack in place of the res?
    btw, i have stock mufflers.
nothing has been touched on this car or modified...
except for this wire i have no idea what its for. ill upload pics in a bit.

My guess is that it would go through your firewall to something but I honestly don't know. Have you been able to locate a wiring diagram to see what that wire is even for that its tapped into?

**Car is in the garage right now burning because of that wire** lol jk. Yea when it gets warm you could probably follow it all the way and figure it out. Was probably for something they took out before selling it.

    Not much of an update.
winter took its toll on my gp this year,
cracked my sway bar so she just sits in the driveway.
For now anyways, should be an easy fix once the snow melts, again.

not much of an update, but its better then nothin.
got my sway bar swapped in and out.
surprisingly, i didnt have to lower the subframe at all.
just alot of wiggling haha. easier then i thought it would be.

decided to go for free/cheap mods and rotated the motor mounts,
not sure if this really matters or not but i also removed the throttle body screen,
zzp had it on their website with a gain of 5-10%, anyone else try this?

oh, and im pickin these up next week

Awesome deal, she has some real potential. Did a search on that wire coming out of the ICM, and came up with this:
Part 3 -GM 3.8L Ignition Module Test and Crank Sensor Test (3X, 18X)
I'm not sure what it would need to be run like that for, maybe something happened to the original run? I dunno. I'll try and find out it's path so I can try to figure out if it needs to be run into the dash harness or not...I would think it'd go straight to the ECM based on this:
A- WHITE wire.ECM control of Ignition Control Module (after the 400 RPMs and above are achieved).
Do you know if the car had a remote start or an aftermarket tachometer before? Check pin 8 on your ECM (clear connector) and see if that wire is spliced as well.
