its A LOT flakier. it has a lot more color to it and that's what i liked about it.

second best was the VW pearl white.

Ya I've seen the VW Pearl White, it is nice, and the dealership I work at use to sell Cadillac so I've seen the White Diamond GM uses, but few Fiats roll around here so I wasn't sure if they were close or just named similar.

i am only looking for single stage paints, though. so the fiat white might be out of the question and i might have to fall back on the VW color.

i'm also not even sure i'm going to use it since it would mainly be just an accent color. a pin stripe or two, maybe. i'll have to figure it out more once i get everything back (hopefully soon!).

dunno. texted him yesterday, no return text.

i'm still banking on it being done within a weeks time or so. he didn't have that much work left to do based on the last time i talked to him.

He probably cut it in the wrong spot and the frame fell apart into like 5 pieces and now he's stuck with a pile of scrap metal and is afraid to text you back.

i'm sure he has the ability to weld it back together, but if that's the case i'll just get a new frame. haha.

    quick updates....

    - he wants to relace the wheels for me, the spokes on them are pretty poopy.
    - he got held up on my forward controls because he blew a part on his lathe.
    - he is going to hard tail the frame this week.
    - he said he'd send me some pictures later today (if he remembers).

that means the oil tank and gas tank are done as well as the forward controls.

i've been holding off on buying any more parts (headlight, new chain, exhaust, misc. odds and ends) until i get the frame back. update as of today is that i should plan on picking it up anytime between this weekend and next weekend.

i'm hoping he gives me a few pictures tonight as well. i asked for some this morning.
