Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
15's are the drag wheel/tire size.
Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
dont want it to look like a race car.. lol... too dam big for some itty bitty 15's
Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
Factory wheels are small in overall diameter.
The body simply wasn't designed for a large diameter wheel/tire combination.
This is why a new Camaro on 20's doesn't look out of place.
Yet 20's on a 67 looks entirely out of place.
Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
My friend is rolling on 15's on his caprice.

Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
Im not even going to comment on those lol.
Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
lol you dont like the gray box lowered on staggered 22's
Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
I am a firm believer that those rims do not belong on cars like that. Its a rwd car tiny rims with big meaty tires like the old muscle cars did.
Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
eh... were never see eye to eye then... but back to the 327.. you have any info on it

Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
What's the point of putting a bigger engine and a blower on it if you're going to ruin all drag ability with 22"lead wagon wheels?
Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..
lol this is more of my taste but I would drop the rims from 26 - 22's

well for one.. being that its not fwd and the power from motor to tranny can move 22's like gps move 16's.. and helll 22's isnt nothin compared what ive seen.... 24's-28's on chevys with smaller setup im thinking of doing runnin 12-13.5 seconds in the 1/4...
