well.. i bought my cadillac seville for $400.. by golly she was a beauty.. i bought it off a older guy who was selling it on CL because it had tranny issues.. i was gonna part it out an make money off of it.. well i dropped the transmission pan and i seen that the shift solenoid was broke.. got one from a local junk yard "u-pull-and-pay" came home replaced the part and drove the car.. pulled back up home an jumped up screamed all sorts of word i think i made up haha i felt like the mechanic of the year i couldnt be touched.. well she was terrible on gas an with 197k miles i was gonna sell her.. and i did for $1400
same day went an looked at a 2000 grand prix gt.. asking price $1800, my purchase price $1000
had to replace a trailing arm on drivers side an still got to do the VC gaskets.. but thats no biggie..
shes only got 176k miles and has no issues.. no rust.. no rack an pinion squeal.. and no exhaust leak
i think were in love hahaha
