I thought I would post some pics of my "dream car" I wanted one of these widetracks long berfore they even came out. I ended up buying my '95 GP 'cause my previous car wasn't goin to last 2 more years! Then, a mere 13 YEARS LATER, I gave up on my '95 (too many problems occuring). Then, by pure luck, I stumbled across this car.

O.K. here are my current mod plans....PLEASE feel free to "rip on them" if they don't make sense...it's how I'll learn
    1. Yella Terra 1.7 rockers
    2. LS6 valve springs (90# installed w/ Manley retainers for maximum lift of .580")
    3. LS7 lifters
    4. INTENSE stage 1x ( duration @ .050": 212º/216º, lobe lifts: .327"/.321", valve lifts with 1.60:1 rocker arms: .523"/.514", lobe separation angle: 113º, intake centerline: 109º)
4a. new timing chain / dampener
    4b. port / polish heads & LIM
    5. reprogram OVERKILL PCM
    6. port & polish TB?
I read that the MAF needs tweaked for the TB modification, is that something that needs to be done "in car" or can I have Will include that in the reprogram?

If my math is correct (a BIG if !), then my stock heads SHOULD be able to support the total lift needed. Is there another reason not to run cam/rocker combo? I AM new to this so please feel free to comment

performance cam has a different profile vs the stock cam, rockers on the stock cam just make the valves travel more.

but a performance cam will make the valves drop and rise faster and longer duration. aka choppy idle and more over all power. no rockers needed.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

You really need an in car tune if you're camming it.

Changed my cam selection to ZZP GT1, total lift will be .5389, well inside the safety range ZZP stated. I am still number crunching,: making sure that the valve lift #'s are good for the entire duration on the cam. Looking for a tuner to complete this project. Anyone interested?
