I had lost all hope when my transmission went out... at the beginning of the semester when I saw painted parts my faith in getting it running again came back. And now i'm even happier because I have a friend who can fix it and even help me with the light turbo mod on the current POS engine and help me drop a new engine and trans in later

Just a few photos of the car I took today. Bottom of driver quarter glued with screws removed, passenger quarter with body filler finished. Passenger fender with all screws in place and aligned gap. Driver fender in epoxy, need to glaze a couple dents in the middle.

Lol it looks like an aftermarket or OEM fender right now.... even acts like an aftermarket one right now because I was off by a quarter of an inch when I put in the first patch so the screw holes for the flare/body cladding don't quite line up...

Edit: lol when I said I panel bonded the **** outta the quarter I meant it XD

Trust me, the thought has definitely crossed my mind. Even thought about giving her her own casket and having an 8' long grave dug for her and making a custom headstone with the 5th gen badass front end on it... but Idk about all that yet. Will probably be passed down to the most responsible kid a few hours before my death and I will instruct that child to do the same thing until it becomes a 200 year old car lmao. All the flying cars will be making fun of my great great great great grand kids because they still have wheels lmao

There's also a 90 turbo gtp nearby for 2500 with 153k but I hate the light bar on the 90s...... but that one's red like my 95 but this one don't have a sunroof. The other one has a sunroof but no spoiler... easy fix.

Lol pretty sure this is the third time you've said that and thanks. I'm glad I have more support than I did in the beginning... even my classmates that were saying get rid of that piece of **** are complementing me lmao

Thanks I appreciate it a lot. I plan on keeping this gem a long time. even holding off on engine rebuild for the time being. Wanna see how long these engines will last. Then when the engine is beyond any form of re-building/re-machining i'll swap for a high end turbo. Going to do a light turbo mod on the high mileage engine and see how it holds up. I will be getting stronger parts of course...

Edit: this was post 100 of my ride thread..... never expected it to even get this far lmao.
