Painted the reinforcements/bumper anchors last night. Got tired of looking at them being sandblasted.... epoxy base with a silver top coat

Edit: moar pichurs! Got short strand filler done on passenger fender and laid regular filler on. Also played with the buffer a little. Didn't really try too hard though.

Edit: Body filler is done, on to glazing putty

Edit: Glaze is half way sanded. Fender is almost done

    edit: Anodized red

Finished sanding the glaze on the passenger fender Monday. Also the parts came back from primer-surfacer. Will get pics of primed parts during welding. Just have to wetsand those for paint and good go to. Also accented the plates behind mirrors... well one so far anyway. Still gotta do the other.
Oh also played with the buffer some more

Masami is the japanese name for elegant beauty.... thought it would be an ironic name for an ugly american car

I'm pretty impressed with myself on this. I never dreamed that car would ever be straight again. there's a lot i'm not repairing but i'm doing most of the bad stuff right now and i'll do the rest later.

Well the black one I pulled from ewe-pullet which is our local self service yard and it was the only driver side fender that had the flare mounting holes in it. The white parts came off another one that would have worked had the driver fender not already been taken... I'd order a new one from gm but I don't have 150 for a new driver side fender nor 67 for a new passenger side fender...

I'm taking the cheapest route I can right now. If I had the money I'd just scrap it and buy a new one..... buttttt I don't so this is currently my only choice

I'm a big fan of fixing stuff, we live in a disposable society. The skills that you are acquiring from this job will serve you well. I'm fairly impressed, looks you;re doing a nice job! Very resourceful too.
