Rofl...That made me laugh pretty good Bio.

But yellow and black looks so good together. A neighbor of mine has a brand new black CTS-V sedan with yellow calipers and a yellow CTS-V decal on each side. I'll paint mine to match, then swap them... He'll never know

We have a 1.8L sonic 6 speed Auto at work as a delivery car. Being honest I hate it, the gearbox is garbage and the blind spots are horrific. If you're happy that's what matters though, as you're the one driving it everyday. They're definitely neat little cars and yours look a lot better than ours. It sucks that the turbo is built into the manifold, makes it a lot harder to upgrade...

Yeah, just gonna take longer to get an aftermarket upgrade for them.

I really do like the gear box in mine...Though the throws on the shifts are so much longer than in the Eclipse (it has a short throw, so yeah)

Blind spots are kinda ****ty in this car...even compared to the wagon.

You can still make more than enough power to be happy for a 1.4L econobox on the stock turbo.

Yep. It's actually pretty cool watching the aftermarket companies currently going through R&D on parts.

Also, couple days ago ZZP picked up a Sonic identical to mine. They'll prolly blow it up like they did their Cruze...but hey, more overpriced parts!

Little update.. Still running around busy as a bee. Rain hasn't let up any, so I haven't been able to wash and wax the car properly. So mind the dirty pics.

Bio, look away now...all that follows is moar black.

Blacked out the chrome around the grills, and the chrome strip below the windows.

Also, you might notice the lack or orange...Turns out that some **** who lives in my area has a black Sonic Sedan with orange stripes...But he's a *****....Not sure how that's relevant... So I took them off. Should have my flat black ones soon.

Made a little trek to the beach this morning and enjoyed the stormy weather. Didn't know that the phone was still on black and white, but hey, the car's black, so it doesn't matter.

Had to go to the DMV because my paperwork for the car finally came in. $1625.29 later, I had a piece of metal that cost Florida tree-fiddy to make.

Also, noticed that I now, officially, have the least powerful car on this forum. With a ground shaking 13 HP!

Which makes the car do this

That actually surprised me so much, that I had to take a picture before I came to a stop and killed the MPG.
I reset the MPG meter monitor thingymajig right after I filled up. I was stuck behind a semi doing 50ish...so 1200rpm + draft = lots of not using gas?

Then onto today's actual car changing looks stuff.

    Before

    During

    I like tape!

    Mid way through

    Stock tail light

    Dipped tail light

Pictures don't really do the tails justice..it really does make the back end look much much better.

Removed the Turbo badge...which counts as weight reduction because racekar.

Even though it was raining, I decided that the bike needed some loving too.. Took her for a quick spin, and man do I miss riding.

Hell, the *much hated on this forum* Corvette took a peek

^Mind the neighbors run-down single wide. They're from Georgia...should explain most of it.

^ This. Needs tint something fierce. Otherwise I really do like how its turning out, but you should have left the orange stripes and done something really diabolical and then took them off. Pin it on the copy cat.

Dipped trim and tails looks good. I think dipped trim around the corner lights would look good, but I would leave the rings around the headlights and fogs.

Here's my thought on the wheels. Completely black wheels is too much IMO.

or quit spending all your money on $15 cans of plasti-dip so you can afford a set of wheels off craigslist.
