    hey guys,
I picked up this turd to be a money maker so by no means is it replacing the gtp
Heres my 91 Mitsubishi 3000GT it has the N/A 3.0 DOHC motor and its a fwd auto... i know its no fun!!, anyway picked it up with a bad rod bearing, one of my old bosses picked it up as a project car he was gonna have this stupid powerful motor by time he got done... well that was 3 years ago and it sat in a storage garage ever since, happened to ask hima question on facebook that lead to him selling it to me for $300, the list of things it needs to get back on the road consisted of, a new motor, New wheels and tires (i dont want to even talk about how horrible the last rims were), a battery and some other rather minor things

I made my way a little past st louis, Missouri (about a 8-9 hr round trip drive) where a guy sold me a motor with 95k miles for $250, searched on craigslist and found a set of rims and tires from an 04 tiburon that had the same bolt pattern and offset, they didnt look to bad so i picked them up for $200, got back up to iowa with just about everything i needed so i got started on the engine swap, overall it hasnt been hard or stressful and to be truthful i found it easier then putting the motor in my GTP

now the previous owner of the motor had the timing belt off because he replaced the front main seal (he was the owner of an auto shop and i dont think he could have resisted) so i had to put everything back together, the water pump and T-belt only had about 25-30k miles on them and i am cheap so i inspected them as best i could and reset the timing and installed the belt

at this point i have almost everything back together but am at a stand still waiting on a crank sensor so i got the upper intake and front valve cover sand blasted by an uncle and painted them up, i figure i already had the paint and a cleaned up engine bay might help it sell a little easier

at this point i have about 1k total invested in the car and plan to put about another $200 into it, current KBB values put the cars value in the $3500-4200 range i plan to list it in the high 3k range and hope for the best, anyway hope you guys enjoy, ask away if you have any questions
