Okay guys i need some opinions. My Upper Intake Manifold is leaking due to the famous EGR. I am debating between doing the stock gasket and L36 plenum kit or doing the L36 to L26 topend swap with new gaskets. Any opinions on which one? Possible project Series 2.5

l26 is more expensive as you need a tb adapter.

Circular inlet on the L26 IIRC, might benefit from an L67 Tb and trimmed runners.

    you could paint it though.

In relation to GM, i thought id let you all know that i am in the process of rebuilding an oldsmobile 350 engine. GPSE2000 is also helping out. It is a great learning experience and i am enjoying it. I cannot wait until its done completely. I will try to get pics up from the build

And an update to my situation of intake manifold gaskets leaking, i replaced LIM gaskets, UIM gasket, new coolent elbows, TB gaskets and gave that old thing a good cleaning, my cat crapped out on me so i replaced that, did a coolant flush, and also being i had it all torn apart i put on new injector o rings.Sorry i didnt take any pics of that, i was in too much of a hurry to get it up to par again. Still no supercharger tho ....yet...

Small Update, purchased plate cover a couple months back, and purchased special edition two tone leather seats. Not too bad of a price, driver seat is cracked quite a bit. Going to recondition them and hopefully itll make them a little bit better

Plenty of performance mods you could have done instead of the system.

Im not really doing things for cheap, just doing things more slowly than others might. I got a good deal on the seats and im happy, they are turning out good

Yeah i am debating between keeping the car or finding a decent truck. I do like the prix, just wish it had a blower on it. Which i could easily do, the only thing is, insurance would skyrocket
