Hey all. This is my 1998 Grand Prix GT. Practically all stock, even the tie rods and struts are still OE. Got it in August 2012 with 87k miles from the original owners. It now has 94k miles. Hasn't seen a winter since 2000, which is why I'm so bummed that I found my rear strut towers rotted out today. If I had known to look for this when I looked at it, I may have not purchased it or at least talked him down quite a bit more. I'll be getting that looked at very soon. Hopefully its not as expensive as I think its going to be.

Anyway, I put on my brand new wheels today (during this time is when I found out about my strut towers). I bought them a few weeks ago, but I mounted/balanced/installed them all today. I love how my car looks now. As far as future mods, I would like to upgrade the brakes, especially now with the bigger wheels, the suspension (sway bars, STBs, etc.) and possibly a turbo, but that would be later down the line.

Let me know what you think of it.

    Soon after I bought it

Those strut tower are far from gone, but it would be wise to get at them now. Mine are just a tad worse and I'm going to fix them once its warm here to help stop it from spreading and give the car another 5 years of life.

Thanks. I actually just left the body shop where I'm gonna have them fixed. $250/side, and I'm gonna have him fix the rust under my gas door as well.
