they came with mine toothem rims came on a GT? i thought they were only on the base model 04+? i have them on my 97 but mine are white

So, Saturday when I did the Plastidip, I also used a 3M Headlight restoration kit and they looked really good after I did it, then I came out of work today and they were all clouded up! I didn't know what to do. So, I called a friend who runs a headlight restoration service (Idk why i didn't call him in the first place). He came to my house and within 15 minutes they looked like this.
Better then when I first bought the car.

05 was the only year that the gt model had the thick five spoke rims, They replaced the horrid 04 hubcaps and the 04 twisted spokes and in 06+ only the base models got those thick five spoke

I like this idea. My Camaro had factory black mirrors. I say do it. And like you said. If you don't like it, you can take it right back off.
My Camaro also had factory black door handles. I don't think plasti dip would hold up on the door handles though.
