Yep got them done a couple of weeks ago. It was a pain to eliminate the crossbeam.

I just looked at a few pictures and went from there. It took a lot of trial and error thats why it took me 4 weeks to complete.
I got most my help from here:
Mini Morimoto H1 Projector Retro FIT ***EDIT*** WRITE UP!
Cleans Official Retrofit Thread. Pictures of Work. - Page 12

Keep in mind that the morimotos have been redesigned since these threads and the 97-99 housings are smaller inside that the 00-03 housings. My best advice is just be patient.

If I do another set for my dads car then i might do a write-up

Agreed on the tint I plan to get it done soon 35% all the way around. As for lowering due to the crappy roads around here and the fact that one of my friends lives up a switched back drive way. I might get some vogtlands but no lower (maybe I might change my mind) but the brakes need to be done badly.

sLpGPGT: I haven't found a set of wheels that i like yet. I'm looking for a plain 17'' or 18'' five spoke like on the new GTOs.

gtpeddie: I can't guarantee that I can get a set done in a reasonable amount of time since I work 6 days a week plus they are such a PITA that I really don't want to do another set but I will offer any help if needed. I can send you some detailed pictures if you want.

I got a L67 out of an '04 Monte Carlo and have been working on it for the past few weeks. I have done a complete tear down and replace all the gaskets. I also got a Gen V blower and installed it during this build up.

Engine when I brought it home:

    After the complete tear down:

Everything cleaned up and ready to reassemble:

I finally got the engine swapped in. Some of the threads on here were lifesavers during this process (ex. the Gen V swap and Bills How to pull an engine).

    Looks good.

    How's she run?

And by the crossover, it looks like your on stock manifolds, correct?

You need to get rid of that and get some headers. Running a Gen V is equivalent to a 3.6~ on a Gen III, and on top of that, you have a smaller pulley on that Gen V as well. Unsure of what size, but get some headers on there before you chip a piston and all this work goes to waste.

    Better be safe than sorry.

The car runs great just a few minor issues due to old parts and sensors. I'm slowly going through everything and replacing if not upgrading.

Yes that is the stock exhaust but I am only running a 3.8'' pulley it is a MPS due to the hub being on the blower when I bought it.

I have been careful watching the KR and not pushing the car too much until I get headers. Exhaust is the the next upgrade on my list.

I am favoring the WBS headers so far. They seem to be well constructed, and by what I have read, fit pretty well apart form a few of the normal modifications that come with headers.

I've gotten a little bit of work done on the GP this winter and thought that I should post a few pics.

    Added:
    05+ Mustang Wheels
    W-Body Store Headers
    Tinted Taillights
    Braided Fuel Lines

I am getting a set of roof rails mounted tomorrow.
