I went Friday to check out an 04 Comp G... 70k, black, fully loaded... moon roof, premium sound, heated leather seats, dual exhaust, each muffler has really nice dual tips... everything good.
Looked decent under the hood, pretty clean for the mileage. Paint is pretty clean minus some chips and scratches, nothing horrendous... underbody is almost rust free.
Put my Kv5's on it... not sure but it looks like it could be slightly lowered.

I didnt notice it until yesterday, but the windows are actually tinted.. I dont know if there was a factory tint option, it's pretty light but it's definitely there on all windows except the windshield.
I'll get pics tomorrow, havnt had a chance yet... been raining like a ***** all week.

The exhaust sounds amazing, I dunno if it was a special option, I looked and they're both GM mufflers but it sounds so mean.. it's loud enough to be able to hear it idling from across the street and has a very nice, audible rumble under light acceleration and then roars when I get on it.. but it's far from obnoxious and defintitely wouldnt wake anyone up inside their house at night... exactly what I was looking for.

The difference in get-up-n-go from my NA car is awesome, I cant wait til I can open up the flow a little so I can hit the power in the higher rpms better, it sorta tops out at 4k atm.

I ripped out the stock air box and put the cone on it today and took it right out to the interstate and hammered on it... whineeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I fell in love immediately Must... Get... Smaller.. Pulley... Now.

I have my power log from the old car sitting in my garage, and the zzp downpipe... Im gunna put them on, hopefully next week. I need to figure out a day I can let the bolts soak in pb over night and then have time to do the work the next day. I can hear the *****ing already about headers, but I put a big down payment on the car... so while I have this stuff already sitting in the garage and I have little money in the bank... I'll be fine with this, lol.

Tranny fluid and filter are in the near future, gunna go with dex VI after some consideration.
Spark plugs are also at the top of the list, gunna use xp606's for now, if I drop pulleys I'll change heat ranges.
Gunna order an Overkill tune for it and a wideband + aeroforce to watch kr, and then HPtuners in the future so I can use the Overkill tune as a starting point.

I see on ZZP they have a kit with a wideband and the AEM gauge with it for like 200, but if Im getting HPT/Aeroforce, I could just buy the sensor by itself for the 80, right? Dont need the AEM gauge.

Also, I've got only 2 issues that are concerning me at the moment. One is that today I discovered a single drop of water on my back seat, passenger side... I traced it to a slightly wet oh-sh*t handle just above it. It was just a little wet so Im not that worried about it now, but it's obviously a leak somewhere, any typical trouble areas? Im thinking moonroof but I dont know where exactly it would be getting in.

Second, it's only the first time you put it in drive after starting it... there's a little vibration, like a strong cell phone vibration I can feel up the steering column and hear in the front end. It doesnt happen until you start moving, it vibrates once for about 2 seconds, then a second time for just a split second, every time like that and then it goes away until the next time I shut it off and start it. If you start the car, put it in drive stay sitting still for any amount of time, it wont happen until you start moving, and if I stop, put it back in park, then back into drive, it wont do it... gotta shut the engine off and restart it, then put it in drive to recreate it. Doesnt happen for reverse. Doesnt happen under acceleration, either.

    Cool beans.

So you still have to sell your NA or was it a trade?

The noise, vibrate you feel is the ABS module doing a self check of the system, its normal.

Well that would explain it, the old car didnt have ABS or Trac Control...

I traded it, they gave me just about 8k for it.

Sticker price was 9995, I got him to 8k, and honestly I was fine with that price. My monthly payments are way cheaper now than they were before.
