Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
Get rid of your old spoiler, headlights, taillights, and exhaust tips. I suggest a bigger and more aggressive spoiler like SLP's, Halogen headlights similar to these http://www.pfyc.com/cotm/gp/wk399_jthiel.jpg, and some nice dual exhaust tips. If you're going low with some sweet rims like that you have to pull everything together so it looks real mean, low, and clean. Space those rear wheels by 10mm and give it a nice wash and wax. Taillights are up to you, I recommend the ones I just got for my GT.
After you get everyting sorted out, and find a good photographer, you'll make Pontiac history dude!
It's hard to find good quality photos for reference, so I'll give you one of mine. Spyder Auto Smokes!

Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
Yeah thanks man they look good. Most of those things are on my list, exhaust and tail lights for sure. I do want a spoiler eventually but i havent decided which to go with
Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
^^^break out the credit card and buy a Limited Edition spoiler from GMPartsDirect.com
Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
i vote SE/40th edition it would go well with the back window spoiler
Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
this and dark red tails ala matt "the palm tree" palmer.
Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
Looks sooo much better with some lip on those rims! Now just need to paint em gold :th_laugh-lol3:
Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
Don't put a Limited Edition spoiler on your car, there just about the most hideous spoiler I ever seen on a GP. Id vote for 40th/Daytona/Special Edition spoiler.
BTW car looks great man!

I like the 40th/daytona spoilers. Thats probably what I would end up with or the gen 2 so I dont have to cover up trunk holes.
I went to the junkyard today and got some oem turn signals. I'm gonna get rid of the clear corners and go back to orange. And I also scored this...
They had this shag van over in the corner that was decked out with fake leather walls and everything. I spotted this awesome looking chair underneath all the mess and it was in really good shape. Its gonna be turned into an awesome lounge chair. The best $25 ever, its super comfortable.

Mount an airbag under it:th_jester:
Nice ninja Red.
Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
I think i'm gonna chop about 3 or 4 inches out of the legs and maybe go back to the junkyard and see if i can find something to use as an ottoman

It's like the Top Gear furniture LOL
Re: Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance
A few updates... I noticed that most of the tint on my tails had faded off so I stripped the rest of it off and messed around some with the VHT red tint. I don't have any good pictures yet on the car.

And I decided to tackle my pressure gauge and finally got it working!

But I got a little too ambitious with the wire strippers down in the wheel well where everything is and accidentally did this... I feel so dumb... Any ideas on how to fix it or is it done?
