Yea Sioux City area. Epic mpg. Almost 60mph and the engine isn't even running.

So I went and drove it. The guy thought trans was goin out. Felt like it to me. So I buy it expecting to put a trans in it. I put a few miles on it. About 20 or so. Trans is slipping a little bit. Slips under heavy boost occasionally. Got to where I was going and pulled the dipstick. The fluid is just barely touchin the dipstick. So the fluid topped off will fix the slipping I'm sure. Cleaned it out real quick. Needs a couple interior panels and a window motor/regulator. Go figure. Needs a strut tower which I knew. We're just gonna weld a plate on and call it good. I don't care about it honestly. It's a beater.

Eff third gear. Don't need that. Watch. I'll lose third now. Oh well. I have a spare trans if I need it.

what sucks is 3 rd starts at 35 mph pretty much, so it kind runs a high rpm around town.

then theres trying to pass on the highway. 65 mph in od, and then red line and screaming in 2 nd gear lol

So 5 qts of fluid later and the trans is back up to proper level. Seems to shift fine. Feels sloppy but I think that's just cause i'm use to the quick and firm shifts the purple car has.

Still have the car, it's still kickin. It's at 284K now. I changed the crank sensor today since it kept dying. Hopefully that takes care of it. I might change the plugs too. They're probably original ones in that engine that has 100Kish. Also....****ing oil pan leaks like a *****. Not fixing it, seriously thinkin about cleaning the hell out of where the pan seals and just putting a bead of silicone all the way around to stop it from leaking LOLOL. I don't want to pull the engine up in this thing.

i thought the trans bit the dust. Lost 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Nick is with Dave from TEP today and Dave and said my problem is probably VSS or TPS related. Well. Whoops. Either way. This trans was going. Fluids burnt to hell. It was starting to slip in second. And it's nearing 200K. Its time would've been up before too long. Plus I have an excuse to change the oil pan gasket now. LOL I also had this trans just laying around so whatev, ha.
