Car looks great! The SSC's will settle MUCH more not to worry.

Looks good, I'd hope them springs would settle some more, did you take measurements before by any chance? I'd save them spacers just to see because if it does lower some more you might need em. I used dna springs n my front lowered quite a bit n my rear dropped probably .25-.5 inches only. My front has a nice drop tho. Lemme know if you don't need the spacers cuz ill take em! I have a little vibration.
sick comp g =]
Yeah im gonna hang on to the spacer in hopes that she does settle down, hit up Vinnie he had mine to me in a matter of days.
Thanks Oxfire for the pic reference nice set of GPs
And yes I did take to pre measurements but unfortunately my drive way is on a very slight slope that might throw off some numbers but we will get the jist of it.
Yep I hear ya. I'm gonna get an alignment first prob then get some. Will that help vibration n geometry of everything or are spacers just the cure if you know?
Alignment is a must any time ya do this kind of suspension job, the spacers will probably be needed if I get what I want from the drop so heres to hopin and being prepared! I think you can get shorten dogbones or even flipping them might reduce some of the vibration with a small drop, Drunkie is the guy to ask these questions....
Newb Question, should a new ZZP strut tower bar be a bey@tch! to install? I cannot for the life of me get the holes to line up. Not sure what im doing wrong here?
Thoughts? Please feel free to make me feel like a schmuck. Cause I sure to feel like one!
I had issues transferring my zzp STB from my 98 to 97, i ended up chiseling off one of those small studs on the passenger strut tower that was hitting the bar bracket, and then dropped the bar down on one side and muscled it a bit to drop down on the driver side. My 98 was in a wreck though, so my bar was probably tweaked a bit. I also remember having to do something with the big wire harness on the driver side strut tower, I think I just removed the metal bracket so it would drop down a little bit and then held it in place with a ziptie.
Slight thread derail. Are the ssc's a harsh ride, or they a progressive spring? I like the ride height that offer, much better than the vogtlands on my car.
Heres a little updates, got the headers hooked up and they look and sound great! Thanks too all the guys on GPF for the help. Ill work on a good video soon been really busy with business but heres a little update
New and old! What a difference!
Left over pile...
Some trouble spots i ran into
I know I need to clean up my bay just dont want to spend the money on the detail just yet
A quick vid nothin special I have a boo yeah camera with a nice mic ill do a good video of
ZZP Headers installed on Pontiac Grand Prix preview - YouTube
I also got my new OverKill tune so im plugging that in tonight!
So I feel like I got all the supporting mods so im ready to drop that pulley, I wanna keep her as DD as possible how low should I go? I was thinkin maybe the modular system from ZZP but lets be honest once it goes on its not coming off!
I know it wont be too accurate but im still just curious just so I have an idea with my current build/setup what kind of power would I be churning out if everything was tip top and optimal with a 3.5?
Currently HAI, Headers, Cat back, 605s and then toss 3.5 in with that. What would an estimated HP be?
Are 605s not cold enough? I was under the impression that they were for a pulley drop???
Should be just fine, what people don't understand is that you want the hottest spark you can get away with at the given time.
225-230 WHP is just a guess.
